At the time, OGLETREE was apparently unaware that the Cash Service was part of an undercover FBI operation. The Cash Service provided a wallet address to which OGLETREE was to send cryptocurrency for the exchange. A review of blockchain evidence indicates that on February 25, 2024, 668.78 XMR was sent to the wallet provided. XMR is the abbreviation for Monero. According to its website, Monero is the only major cryptocurrency where every user is anonymous by default.
Keep any activities separated from the exchange process and the exchange process separate from actual cashout or acquiring in own name. Compartmentalization is a key concept use it.
Receiving non-Monero coins from markets and other exchangers who have a clear audience and it isn't regular users is a potential red flag. Not always do you receive white coins and white coins you receive not always are extracted in smart ways by the exchangers themselves. Eventually accounts opened on exchange services where most of these types of exchangers get their white coins from would get flagged, investigated and reported to authorities. No service is immune but please be vigilant when moving your Monero.
Did you notice the amount of 668.78 XMR (all in one go nonetheless)? The Scattered Spider hacker group member apparently didn't come around to reading Incognito admins indictment how analytics firms find it easier to classify such payments over something like 668.78496824384 XMR.
