We’re pleased to announce the stable release of Qubes OS 4.2.4! This patch release aims to consolidate all the security patches, bug fixes, and other updates that have occurred since the previous stable release. Our goal is to provide a secure and convenient way for users to install (or reinstall) the latest stable Qubes release with an up-to-date ISO. I love qubes. I started using it as my main operating system, dn and otherwise. once you master the copy and paste option, and incoming qubes function, it's a breeze.

My setup is old could you possibly recommend a computer that is compatible that wont break the bank!? Please /u/chatnoir


I had bought a laptop before to put Qubes on but it I could not get it to work nor my buddy could either.. Think that laptop make was the problem, I am seeking some advice before buying one again.

I see alot of posts saying tails is the one, I would like to stick with qubes I do check for updates, and I am so keen to see the new one and learn that.(4.2.4)

My one did ask me to update but im not sure its running that version is there a command to run to show what software is running. I have used it for years but I have not really studied it properly yet
