Question: Im using a relay I setup as my guard by selecting it as a bridge in Tor Browser : Tor | Torhoo darknet markets

As the title eludes to I am using a relay I run as my guard node by selecting it as a bridge in Tor Browser settings. Is this a bad idea? Any technical insight would be appreciated and if there is a better way to achieve what I am doing please let me know.
