Quick Stupid quesions : OpSec | Torhoo darknet markets

I am a fully fucker in front of you guys, I am new to here for the markets, so please anybody answer these questions for me?
1:What setup for my computer can keep myself safe form the police?
2:Do I really put my locations and real name for the item delivery? (I known I shouldn't ask this stupid question)
3:Any good vendors recommend?
-Thank you guys for the answer!!!
Please read the DNM buyers bible, /d/OpSec/wiki?id=ea7f4385

1. I suggest you start with USB-stick with Tails, use it with an old laptop where you have removed webcam, microphone, loudspeakers and WiFi-chip. Use an USB WIFI-adapter if needed. There are different options on how to connect, see /post/f12b38fc9337bce6ae34

2. This is the most debated topic in the DNM buyers bible. This is based on many IRL cases and it increases the probability that your deliveries reach you. Your protection is plausible deniability. Other methods are mentioned in the bible, have a look.

3. This question is especially hard nowafter seizure and DDoS. Some guys suggest waiting until things stabilize, otherwise check different vendor feedback and start to compare and make your choice. I suggest you buy small quantities initially.
telling a beginner to remove hardware parts in laptop is not a beginner friendly advise , btw . just use tails for now .
after getting familiar remove those parts

no one can mention any name bcz others vendors will say he is advertising or supporting a specific vendor , that can cause trouble go and explore in market u'll find a good one
It's not difficult :)
  • Unscrew the laptop bottom shield and start bending the click locks in one corner until all released
  • Look for the WiFi-chip, it usually comes two antenna cables (white and black)
  • Disconnect and tape the antenna cables
  • Unscrew and remove the WiFi-chip
  • Look for the speaker connector, use the release mechanism and disconnect
  • Look for the webcam and microphone connector (they are usually wired together), use the release mechanism and disconnect
  • Put back the bottom shield and screw it back

Good breakdown.

One thing to add when you remove the WiFi-chip, be mindful that some laptops won’t boot without it (BIOS halt). If so, disable WiFi/Bluetooth from BIOS before removal or use a dummy card to bypass boot error.

Also: if the webcam/mic is embedded in the screen bezel (often glued/taped), just cutting the power ribbon to the webcam assembly is enough. No need to destroy the whole top lid.

Regarding external USB WiFi choose one with a kill switch or make a physical dongle for power disconnect. Better than relying on software toggles.

Don’t forget speaker traces if you want full silence some motherboards route via secondary connectors. A quick continuity test helps confirm.

Good starter hardware hygiene, just be ready to escalate further depending on threat level.

Jeez... It is insane the opsec some of you people go through as just a customer of the markets. Like you think Johnny Law is really going to waste their time on the people buying personal use amounts of drugs.

But obviously DO NOT LISTEN TO ME OP!! I am an idiot, unironically.
You did not provide any advice, just confusion.

FYI it's not uncommon that LE is sending letters to known buyers and register these buyers in national databases. This might have long term implications, like certain job applications will be rejected, LE might contact employer, HR-businesses might get access to such databases, etc. Some nasty LE tactics can destroy people.

I suggest you be more careful with other people, they take their time to post questions because they are worried and should therefore get respectful replies.

Quality burn. This is what makes /d/OpSec different from /d/darknetmarketsnoobs.
You measure the OpSec by the impact if the SHTF. So what is the sentence for a buyer when fully compromised and caught with the substance? This is where you start your OpSec ;)

It's ok to ask questions.
1: Tails!!!!! I can't recommend it enough man. Tails and Tor.
2: Yes, you really put your real location and name for item delivery. Some people chose drops so that their location isn't revealed so find that if you're really concerned.
3: No, we don't do that here. Research research research!!! Use Dread when you do said research! Reviews and Dread will reveal everything you need to know about your potential vendor.

Cross your fingers and hope everything goes good. And yes, read the DNM buyers bible. It will tell you literally everything you need to know and will walk you through it too. If you don't read that man idk what to tell you.

Good luck!
