Realizing i've been sloppier than expected, got some questions : OpSec | Torhoo darknet markets

The aim of this post is :
1. Know if I am actually in trouble.
2. Fix OpSec mistakes if possible
3. Learn how to never make one again

I've been waiting for some packages and some didn't arrive (not talking about a big number but still). It's not the first time a package never comes but this time it was several so I started freaking out, which made me check the Bible, for the first time. I've been taught to use DNM by a friend who read it, he did his job quite correctly but missed some points. I'm not blaming him I should have done my research before.

These orders are not domestic and a reship is on the way, which I know is not good but it's too late, if shit gets bad, my only option might be deniability. The question is, is that just ok and the packages were lost/stolen/anything else or is something bad happening ? I learned about Controlled Deliveries, package is supposed to come in my mail box so I guess no agent is gonna be waiting 12h for me to go and get it to arrest me. But i'm paranoid, is it possible that they let the packages get to me, wait to be sure that I take it inside, open it and then come knocking at my door ?

If that's the case, I should cleanup. I dont have any illegal substances, but some related items. If my house get searched, is owning a glass pipe enough to get arrested and lose a trial ? Or can I still deny and be ok ?

Second thing, what should I do of my USB drive, is there a safe place to hide it inside my house ? like gluing it under a table, bury it in flower pot or are they gonna look that extensively ? And if they find out, I guess having a USB drive tails is too much suspicious.

Last thing, this is where i've been really sloppy, I've been talking about drugs with my friends on unsafe chat services. Is it possible that they seize phone, computers, etc and read through my messages to prove i'm a user ? If yes, how can I delete any proof in there ?

In the worst case, if I have to get a lawyer, should I tell him the truth or lie even to him ?

That's it for my actual situation.

Now let's take a tour of my OpSec sine I started using DNM :

I've always routed my cryptos the right way, i've always encrypted any information.
BUT
I've been ordering non-domestic, but didn't receive stuff only once (without the actual situation) and never got any letter nor visit. Does that mean I've not been watched since ? Once you are watched, is it only the adress or the name too ? And how extensively is it monitored, like do the police get a notification everytime a letter has my name on it ?

From now i'm only ordering domestic, and not for a long time or even not to my adress anymore because I'm scared. I might try to the trick to know if my mail is being tampered.

Thanks to anyone reading this whole and taking time to answer it. I realized OpSec is way deeper and important that I thought, I minimized the risk thinking LE cared less.

Stop doing this shit. If they suspect you of buying drugs off dnm your electronics are seized anyways. The talking with friends might be more proof but isn't enough to mean anything unless they are specific crimes that they can prove happened at the same time you discussed online.

Ordered non-domestic

Never do this again

What you should do

Cool down time. Stop talking about drugs and other criminal shit with your friends. You shut the fuck up now. You research lawyers. Don't get one yet just have one with the phone number memorized. For USB the dogs can find every electronic. Hiding it makes it more suspicious. If you have a bitcoin wallet write the seed phrase somewhere not obvious (class year photo book, programming book, you get it). Good time to burn buyer account and start new if you haven't yet.

I didnt know dogs could find it. I'll listen to what you said, thanks !
If you think that you are in trouble, better clean house and have a phone number to a lawyer with you. If LE shows up, keep your mouth closed, let the lawyer do the job.

Leave the USB-stick at a friend or something.

Several missing packages indicate something is wrong and you should halt ordering.

Post goes to an address with a persons name. If that person and the address is registered in some government systems there is a certain risk that all addresses that the person are know to live at are flagged, but typically only one address is flagged (assuming that this is not a bulk order).

When an address is flagged, the probability that customs / postal workers inspect international packages to that address increase significantly (close to 100%).

Don't use the address for at least 6 months. And yes, you can have friends sending special crafted packages (let them take close-up photos) to you to verify if they been inspected. You can package a GPS tracker there too, so you know how your packages moves.

The first rule is: stick to domestic whenever possible. Mail that does not cross any country border will get far less checked than all other mail. This reduces the risk of you not getting your package or even getting in legal trouble.

It is strongly recommended to not order more than one package at a time, and if the package arrived successfully and without trouble you can make your next order. That way in the worst case (your package gets intercepted) law enforcement seizes only one package with illegal goods and your address on it. If they discover more than one package of contraband, it will be harder for you and your lawyer to deny your knowledge about it in court.

So when "having friends sending special crafted packages (let them take close-up photos) to you to verify if they been inspected"
what in particular wood u b lookin 4 after receiving it?
Also how would 1 craft them specially?
Post inspections usually make cut on the side of the package, sometimes they tape the cut, other times they just let the cut be. Or, you see one or several 3-7mm holes in the package where the inspector examined the content.

In either case, have a plastic inner bag that is water proof and sealed. Tell your friend to write something on the inner bag so it can't be replaced without knowledge. At arrival take photos of the package, examine it for cuts and holes. Open it, take more photos, then make a cut where the bag is intact and take out the content. Fill the bag with water and check for leaks. If there is any needle holes or other cuts you will find them. Any leakage in the inner bag confirms an inspection.

Additionally a GPS-tracker can be in the package. Configure it to send the position once per hour and watch how your package move. Observe the transport mode can have containers that does not let through the satellite signal and also some facilities have jammers blocking GPS-signals and/or cell phone networks. By watching your transport route you learn a lot of how customs and packet deliveries work.

Other things can also be sent, like X-ray sensors or X-ray blockers, etc.

But be aware that such tests might wake up alerts resulting in having the receiving address flagged. Best is to test with a nearby address that is not used for any DNM.

I am not reading that essay. but i saw the usb hiding part. I would recommend not storing it anywhere related to you. my friend stores his 5 million dollars of btc inside a old brick house and just set up a camera near it to make sure its not getting tampered with. this is just an example tho,
