we don't know what the circumstances are , from behind the screen only thing we can do is speculate , moreover the Website onion links says page is undergoing Maintenance , so i think it should solve your problem of some kind of announcement

Could be something to do with LE, maybe site got seized, or he placed it in maintenance for some time due to him being under watch by LE, and is unable to give an update due to the risks that come with logging on to Dread. I doubt this is an exit scam, it does not look like one at all to me.

Hey,
yesterday i had a little problem with getting my coins, because i wanted to place an order.. that saved my money lol.. i wanted to copy the deposit adress from the market, but suddenly it turned offline.
Crazy.. if i didnt have the problem with the coins yesterday, 250$ would be gone..

Its not sure if they really have a Maintance or if LE or Exit Scam is the reason.. in a few hours the market is 24 hours offline, without a damn comment from the admins..
Sorry but i think, something is wrong and my recommendation for you guys is, turn of java script (many tor browser setups have put the security level to low).
Use Whonix to enter the page, if you dont have VPN. Just for your safety!

I wish the best for Archetyp, i loved this place and i hope they will come back, but even if this happens, double check the PGP Keys of vendors (did they suddenly change?).
You know i mean the hansa market thing...
