Sorry for the downtime, I've got it back in "working" order now. This issue is very likely to re-occur and it is completely my fault with how I structured the database. We'll probably try to add temporary fixes shortly, but it will all be solved properly in the near future. Right now it is going to be mostly slow, but is in working order.

New vendor and listing imports are currently not working as the outgoing API requests are failing. So data is going to be further outdated than usual, again, we'll resolve it when able, sorry for the inconvenience.

That is good it is working again. One idea came to me, I would like to share with you, if you don`t mind.
I would welcome if there would be a possibility to see if the vendor was banned on what market. I am not sure if this is something the community would like to see on Recon or the admins and if this is technically possible.

Not much we can do about markets that went down a while ago, the data we have is the last successful request to the market, which may have been way before the market actually went down. We're improving the system shortly to keep it more accurate at all times. Its possible I have more Empire stats saves somewhere that I could import in the future however, but definitely not right now.

Okay mate thanks for that. We have thousands of sales under our belt but have been refused two bond waivers now. We have never had to pay the bond back on any other market and it seems like they all use Recon to verify stats now. If this was the correct stats for us we would have stopped ages ago. Guess we'll have to pay in the mean time. Thanks

Recon automatically gets data from markets. Sometimes markets decide they no longer want to participate in Recon. Empire, and Dark0de both stopped the endpoint. and sometimes here is issues getting it all working together properly.

We are working on an update for Recon that will make it a lot better, and easier for markets to integrate.

They should be on there up until the last time our requests went through to Versus, if they are severely outdated now, there's nothing I can do to have them updated unless Versus admins get in touch and haven't already wiped all backups of the database, which is unlikely

As I said, up until the last time the requests went through, they haven't been working properly for a while, even if some requests go through they've started failing after the first few 100-1000 vendors, so it may have never reached your profile. I do apologize for that and I'll soon be collecting past data from any other reliable sources to improve the accuracy of Recon's data.

Yes there is a huge update coming.

Search does work, but the listings aren't being populated from markets right now.
The empty review text is Incognito's fault, they aren't submitting them correctly to the API.
Review editing was never implemented because it over complicated the API structure at the time, but this will be added and at the choice of market admins if they want to submit edits to Recon.
Your missing reviews from Dream were because your username was not submitted to me during my manual scraping during the Dream shut down, so there is no way for me to get the verified data now unfortunately.
Vendor login is disabled right now, will work fine following the pending upgrades.

If they are available in the vendor search then that data is always going to be there, anything missing probably won't be recoverable because there won't be any other source we could authenticate that data from

The data is automatically imported from the markets. Older markets, pre-recon launch, I scraped the data manually while the market was online or used the scraped provided by a researcher here: https://gwern.net

There is no "false data" posted. You could have contacted us via the Dread modmail if you received no response. Any missing data is impossible for us to correct without an accurate archive of it (for past data). Current market data if invalid is due to issues with the market submitting the data, it will be corrected with the fixes being made in the next few weeks.

All past market data is correct, but may be missing after a certain time period depending on the market. Recon is not your market reputation and your current rep will be reflected when it updates with current market data.

The problem is that you contacted us through Recon when it is currently in a rebuild phase.

It IS realistic data, there are invalid imports from recent markets due to the markets sending the invalid data to Recon, this data will be replaced with the new imports as I mentioned.

Read the FAQ on Recon to understand the data more, in regards to past market data. It is as accurate as is physically possible for defunt markets and everyone understands that it may not reflect true values for where data is missing.

You are not understanding what I told you... the markets that sent incorrect/invalid data have caused this issue because the calculation is basing itself on that invalid data. We're working on new platforms and solving the DoS attack amongst many other things, when Recon's update is ready and live, any broken data will be cleared and the fresh correct data re-imported, which will recalculate your rating and correct it. Bare with us, I don't have time to wipe my ass right now man.
