I wld HUGELY appreciate if someone would PLZZZZZ be kind enough to tell me what I'm missing when I try to complete the captcha for registration on the private shop?!? I've literally tried 25 times using all letters, just the shaded letters, just the white, etc...etc and all I get is "wrong capcha" every time. I'm not seeing any directions for what to do either...lol. I'm dying to place an order but I can't register!! Lmao!! Thanks soooo much in advance for any help anyone can provide!!

It's absolutely irritating. I'm thankful for another premium link so I can look if my post was pending moderation.
I believe if your post is pending moderation once you have X score (X is up for debate, above 50 I'd say) you are notified that your post is pending moderation.

If your score is 10 or less, not at all.

Are you saying that some do not even get a notification their post is under moderation ??

I understand for the purpose of trying to avoid scraping/automation but the basic automoderation is so bad it seems crazy to do that to people.

No you do not. Use your other link since you are premium and check if your post is pending mod. Or, you have friends that let you know as well.

I think my score is well over 50. I don't get notified if my post is pending.

If my memory serves me correctly, we get an green alert not notification

With notification its in the bell, with alert its just on top of the page, if you dont look closely you can miss it and its gone after a refresh.

Its true once user comes back to their post - "pending approval" shows up next to title and nowhere for a comment

I find it annoying too, but I understand why it's there. I think the real damage is when it comes to discussion. You get notified about an answer. Try to read it. "Pending moderation". Usually for hours, sometimes days. You don't get notified again once it has been released. I'm pretty sure lot of conversations meet an early end because of that.

Part of the issues are automod rules set over years where mods keep adding rules but never delete or change them.

I know in one sub where mods come and go often, there is something like 100+ automod rules and sometimes even the mods aren't clear on why it's flagged. It takes time and energy to sit down and go through them all.... and we're all volunteers here. Nobody is getting paid.
