Resources, making the jump from beginner to doing anything; question for hackers : hacking | Torhoo darknet markets

I mainly want to ask people who are actually hackers (or more broadly programmers) how they made the jump from just... sort of learning things to actually applying that to anything. Obviously, don't expose your details, but I've gotten the basics of many things, various programming languages as well, but I just sort of... hit a wall? Any advice is appreciated really, cheers.

I suppose my story, and i would guess this is common, is...

this hypothetical type of person was curious about these things and developed a base knowledge from passion and curiosity, then eventually wanted to do something. They then realized their initial knowledge base was somewhat useful and began to expand their baseline knowledge towards their desired goal from there...

you begin implementing knowledge and gaining more as a result.

Good advice would be find more things to do and try, rather than just learning.

Build real projects, practice with CTFs, and consistently challenge yourself to apply what you’ve learned in practical ways.
