might be dumb but the XMR guide on darknetbible.org isnt working so im a bit confused as to get fresh XMR without sending money in the post?
I have some bitcoin and litecoin on my revolut but would it be a bad idea to send that through an exchange to my wallet?

In principle I suggest to exchange through Haveno (Haveno-reto) or Bisq. Based on your threat model you might consider to transfer your XMR to further Monero wallets afterwards.
