It is interesting to say the least, i am fortunate enough to have much smarter friends to relay info from as needed. The fluoro analog of Rx med that ive never heard of (maybe a German thing?) but scheduled decades ago in many countries because it was developed a long time ago. They were not favorable as BZD development progressed. Too unpredictable as they are so strong and dependent on the liver.
-It is active itself, should be significantly longer (2x+ easy) than loprazolam due to being a 2-fluorophenyl. Compare Triazolam vs Flualprazolam durations. Metabolizes roughly half unchanged and in urine, but the active metabolite has approximately half-potency by weight and around the same (long) duration.
I wish loprazolam was unscheduled in north america or was more popular in germany because it is more interesting to me. One plus is is that it is not likely to cause rebound seizures after single nights of moderate-heavy use, which happened with flunitrazolam. Or rapid dependence/rebound anxiety.
