Should you overpay by a little when sending to walletless transactions? : DarkNetMarkets | Torhoo darknet markets
When you do a wallet-less transaction, it will say something like "send 1.0012345 xmr to this address".
When you go to your off-market xmr wallet, should you send exactly 1.0012345 xmr to the transaction? Or should you add in the equivalent of an extra 50 cents or a dollar in case your wallet or the market or something takes a little fee along the way, or in case the price of xmr has a tiny little shift in rates right at that moment that would leave you a little short?
Maybe this is a stupid question/ stupid idea, but I'd rather lose a dollar than have a whole transaction get jammed up over a few cents for one of these reasons.
And, in any case, whether that's warranted or not, if it winds up that I've sent a tiny bit of coin that is not needed, what happens to any extra overage money I send to a walletless transaction? Like if I send the equivalent of $153 to a transaction that asked for the equivalent of $152, where does the ghost dollar go? Does the market get it? Does it go to the vendor? Does it go sit in my wallet on the market but if so, what if it's a walletless market? (I've tried the little extra $1 thing for luck on walletless transactions on a markets that has wallets as well as one without wallets at all)
