With #3 you must use citric acid as you describe. With #4 you can dissolve in water and inject, or crush into a fine powder and snort it up.

no citric acid needed for number 4 usually. Just water and heat it until it dissolves, try to avoid boiling it. the heat is just to dissolve it.

#3 is more commonly known as black tar heroin. its black, sticky, and overall just fucking gross. Can't believe people inject that stuff. #4 is east coast powder, basically any heroin that comes in powder form. if you find any on the street today theres a 99% chance theres fent in it and a lot of the time doesnt even have any heroin in it at all. people have mostly moved away from actual H on the street and most people wouldnt even know what you mean if you asked for #4. that stuff is nice because you can easily sniff it and its easier and cleaner to inject.

snorting Heroin feels like the "come-down" like a few hours after injecting it.

so injecting H is a lot stronger than snorting it, you get a flash and if you have Heroin with black opium remainings from the production you feel a very strong "bitzeln" (i dont know the word in english, its like itching but a very positive itch and scratching. i dont know how to describe it).
and if you snort it you feel it after 10-20 mins, injecting within a few seconds.

just add water and the heroin in a spoon with 1.5-2ml (depends on the syringe size) and heat it.

if you have #3 Heroin: add enough heroin (i do 300-400mg but i have a very high tolerance since many years)
then about 100mg citric acid (its just vitamin C powder from the supermarket or pharmacy)
and then 1.5-2ml water and heat it until its completely dissolved.

then cut off a piece from a cigarette filter, put it in the spoon and fill the syringe. remove the air bubbles inside the syringe and cool it down in cold water because the liquid is too hot. then inject it into a vein, but only when you can see the blood flowing in the syringe.

The main difference between #3 & #4 H is quality, the higher number the more potent the less citric you need. #4 H is extremely rare these days. Peoples idea of good H is also different these days too...

Id try using vit c powder first as its less damaging to the veins, its just used to break it all down. These days real pure H is rare as rocking horse shit.
Add just a small small pinch of Citric A and slowly heat till it starts to bubble, also use a good filter.
Dont shoot it alone if possible & have naloxone at hand just in case, ... even the most tolerant of users can go over on a bad day.

for #4 you dont need citric acid (vitamin C powder).
if its not dissolving and has a lot of black stuff swimming in it then you need the vitamin c powder, there is mostly a little plastic spoon inside which is about 60mg, 1-2 full spoons is enough.

The brand of the vitamin C powder depends on which country you live in. i never looked at the brand, every one is the same, just the price is different.
in the supermarket its cheaper and in the pharmacy more expensive. if you look at the the back side of the packaging you can read its 100% citric acid inside so the brand doesnt matter.

Lots of off info. #4 is anything that will readily dissolve in water. Typically powder like from the east coast.

Tar would he #4 also technically.

#3 always needs to be broken down with citric acid or an alternative. While I have had very good #3 a few times over the years- it's not worth it. Stick with #4. even if you find #3 you think seems like a great deal I promise you it's better to just pretend it doesn't exist.

The amount of people saying to add heat when preparing a #4 heroin injection is kind of concerning to me. #4 is water soluble. Heat should not be necessary. If you are having to add heat to get your #4 H to dissolve, you need to find a new supplier. Now black tar on the other hand, you will most likely need to add some heat in order to get it to dissolve, unless you just happen to enjoy injecting black goo.

And as always, if you are going to be dumb enough to go down the road of injecting illicit drugs (like a lot of us here are), at least go the extra mile and be smart on the other end of it, ie cleanliness. Always use clean and sterile needles, water, filters (wheel filters preferably), etc. Wash your hands and arms beforehand, swab with alcohol, rotate injection sites, etc, etc.
