Something is going on with Abacus : DarkNetMarkets | Torhoo darknet markets

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think something is going on with Abacus. The mods are actively removing posts that say something about the withdrawals not working properly, and the mod https://torhoo.cc/go.php?u=TDNVdlUyOXVibmxEYjNKc1pXOXVaUT09# is just spamming the same reply that says something about “deposit issues” under every post that isn’t in their sub because they can’t remove it. Additionally, it would be the best time now for Abacus to exit scam after they gained so many users after the recent Archetyp bust. What do you all think about it?

I think fud posts like this are part of the problem. Wait until we have some solid evidence one way or another. Don't use the market if you're worried. Simple as that, imo.

I said don't use the market if you're worried, I'll say officially I'm not doing any more biz on this market until this is over.

Abacus has been having severe connection issues for the past week. Currently I cannot get any links to load. I downgraded to tor 14.5.3 and for unknown reasons it helped the links load, however currently I am unable to get any of their links to load. Its been off and on like this for a while. As far as deposits not coming through, this happened to me a few days ago but I submitted a ticket and Abacus staff had the issue resolved within 2-5 hours. In my personal opinion I do not think they are exit scamming, but I do think they are experiencing a massive ddos attack which is seriously screwing with their webservers. Furthermore regarding the staff removing posts, they have been known to do this I personally dont think they should be allowed to do this however they have made the decision to not allow anyone to complain about them publicly via dread and threaten account bans for such behavior. It is quite a sticky situation for them however what can we do? sadly nothing and just hope they fix these problems soon, and do our best to not tick them off.

PSA: I was finally able to login to Abacus. Use the second link listed on Daunt. If you still cant load in try downgrading tor to 14.5.3 this is what worked for me

Something is going on for sure... when i can finally get in, looking to deposit to make an order, i have no BTC wallet address. The QR code presents a "not a valid BTC address" error message, and when i select verify wallet, the pop up box is missing the wallet address... something is going on! but if they were exiting this would not be a good approach to maximize the amount if people can't deposit.

Hoping this is a all a technical issue

Probably a dead worker or something that didn't/couldn't restart automatically. Otherwise market is gone, all we can do is speculate.

why tf would u use BTC when ordering on a darknet market?

because it doesn't really make much different.... if the authorities seize a site, the last thing they are going to have the time, resource, or cost/benefit to track down people who ordered!! they will go after the admins and then the vendors.

Even if they dont go after u, u dont want ur address to be in any of their databases or anything similar

Connecting to Abacus isn't the issue, The depositing and withdrawing is the concern.

I'm personally staying away until we hear something official

We gotta be careful when using the market cuz think logically, there are no sensible reasons now for the admins of abacus to keep the market alive. They know better than everyone that they are the number 1 target for LE after Archetype got busted. The smartest option for them would be to either retire or do an exit scam. To keep the market alive would be to much risk and the severe consequences overshadow the benefits of keeping abacus alive.

This could all be down to increased traffic coming from the fall of Archetyp. Give it a little time to settle.
