FUCKING TRY IT. Refunding is an amazing form of fraud because there's no fucking risk! Just find out how long you have to return the item and what their return process is, and if they don't refund you before the deadline just return it and get your money back and move on to the next. I don't know how many fucking times I have to say it, most stores are free under $500 and ALL stores are free under $300, they don't give a fuck about your petty ass order. $500-1000 is kinda like a grey area, where it's harder than $500 but significantly easier that orders over $1000, like this is usually when the company runs an internal investigation that could actually work out in your favor even without ftid/good se. Orders over $1000 are the ones you usually need a specific method for a specific store, and there's no point in asking people about orders larger than $1000 because no one will risk burning their own store to help you. Use the same strategy (return if no refund by deadline) to find higher limit stores and test out different se/ftid scans.
TLDR: No one is gonna tell you if your idea will work and risk burning their own stores. Just try it, and return the shit if it doesn't work. What are you so worried about, there's no risk!!!
