Strange package issue. : CafeDread | Torhoo darknet markets
So I've ordered some stuff from the Russian Federation. It took nearly a month to get to EU. I'm not sure how they get it here.
Then the package was accepted by the local post office, it spent there some days being inactive... in the meantime, I've received a *scam* text message on my phone number, suggesting I have to pay VAT for my incoming package or something. It was a phishing site. Not so many people have my phone number, well I gave it to the seller.
And then afterwards my local post office said the package is being returned for unspecified reasons.
Now obviously the laws are a bit different in the EU and I'm fearless guy, so I called the post office and asked them "What's is wrong with my package?" and the lady on the phone said "There's a comment but it doesn't make any sense, it looks like a translation error" and she seldom read it to me, and it really didn't make any sense, so she said "hold on, I will discus with my colleges" and the she said "yes yes, this is probably translation error, call back in a week if nothing happens or you'll have to contact the seller" so I was like "okay..." and that was it.
Very strange. How can it be a translation error when it's processed by local post office? Why wouldn't she investigate further for me? And why would I get the scam text message on my phone, is the ruski seller trying to pull of some trick? It is all very strange indeed. No updates for the package since then. No police knock on the door. Nothing.
What are your speculations? The more paranoid or concering, the better. I love the thrill.
*also I don't really want you to teach me on your american opsec shipping ways, I'm currently in fucking Europe and here things work slightly different. This isn't a police state
