Stumbled into Tails function today, game changer for Tails use : Tails | Torhoo darknet markets
I just discovered when the cursor is anywhere in the lower taskbar in Tails, if you scroll your mouse wheel, it cycles you through your windows like (Alt+Tab) but you can quickly cycle through all your windows back and forth. No clicking, just scroll up and down.
It also stops at the first and last windows instead of cycling all the way around making it very easy to control and use effectively.
Is this a standard Linux feature or something specific to Tails? Anyone know?
Either way, highly useful for anyone with a bunch of various windows/programs open at once.
EDIT: Just realized you can also hop between Workspaces like this also. I'm not sure I knew there was a second workspace in the first place.
I believe that comes with the GNOME desktop/window manager.
It's a pretty widespread functionality though and works in xfce and in i3 for workspaces as well.
