sys-net Network Failure : Qubes | Torhoo darknet markets

During the final stage of the Qubes OS installation —specifically the "setting up network" part— I encounter a "qrexec daemon failed" error. Because of this the sys-net qube fails to start, showing the same error.

I’ve managed to fix this by going into the settings of the sys-net qube and either switching the kernel to the one provided by qubes or changing the virtualization mode from hvm to pv. This allows sys-net to start but the main issue begins when it fails to use my built-in wi-fi card.

As a workaround I tried using a usb wi-fi adapter. While it does list nearby networks, attempting to connect just results in a loading screen followed by a "disconnected" status. So in the end neither my internal wi-fi card nor the external adapter works for actually connecting to the internet. What should I do to properly fix this?

Re-install qubes. Sometimes the install just doesn't work, and you have to keep on reinstalling qubes while experimenting with settings.
