Test4Pay: Steveirwin (and all alts) have been removed from moderation by Dread staff : Test4Pay | Torhoo darknet markets

Dread staff has very strong reason to believe that https://torhoo.cc/go.php?u=TDNVdlUzUmxkbVZwY25kcGJnPT0=# was arrested a few days ago. Due to the arrest, https://torhoo.cc/go.php?u=TDNVdlUzUmxkbVZwY25kcGJnPT0=# (and all alts) have been removed from moderation on all Test4Pay subdreads. The previously donated funds for Test4Pay is probably not accessible anymore due to the wallet keys being controlled by Steveirwin (to the best of my knowledge).

Test4Pay has been one of the most successful harm reduction programs on the darknet. Knowing what you are truly getting when you order from a vendor is paramount to the safety of an individual. Vendors and markets being able to get verification from a non-involved third party that their stuff is clean is equally important in my mind. Safety starts at the source. Test4Pay, while not perfect, provided a way to incentivize the testing and publishing of this information for community safety. With multiple market getting involved and many vendor listings getting tested for safety this project has produced real tangible results.

We need better systems for this project. This project doesn't need to die here. Lives are at stake. All test4pay subdreads have at least one active moderator still. Something like this should not live and die by one man getting arrested.

Shall we continue? I say we should. And we should do it right this time.

Good points, all. No matter how good-intentioned he may have been, law enforcement likely still takes a dim view of testing services as, in their view, this encourages drug use. They don't care that the testing service saves lives; neither do they care that people will take drugs anyway. They're stuck in their antediluvian worldview, and they're not gonna change any time soon now.

I agree with /U/Gorgon that police war o drugs is a large failure and in 2023 we still are suffering the medieval consecuences of that infamous and useless way to try to solve the drugs issue,it would be not late if the politics on drugs were changing that wrong approach. I am afraid that they will continue like that, unfortunately.
And I also agree with /u/dontlaugh on the believing that seems to be more problems than his job at T4P, good luck to all involved people.

That PGP key was linked to a goof off Hotmail account I have never accessed or created. It also hasn't been a key that I've used for a long time and was essentially a throw away. My actual key will be updated on my profile soon.
/u/Gorgon

If you want to enter a throw-away address, use the one from the RFCs... anything@example.com. Replace anything with whatever you want, and any checking service will deem the address as valid, even though it is not. Example.com was established in the RFCs for testing purposes -- it is in no way, shape, or form traceable to anything or anyone.

Using a made-up hotmail, gmail or other clearnet address is highly-inadvisable, as it very likely may be someone's real email account. The last thing anyone wants is someone potentially sending email to such an address -- you don't know who the hell it would be going to.

Was not aware of this program. We are the lucky ones, based in Benelux, where you can freely and anonymously test your drugs.

I am a vendor also so that makes me not neutral. This project MUST continue,. People are dying like mentioned.

I willl begin with becoming a dread premium member since its some form of donation to Dread. I have already suggested to the subdreads concerning my products that i am willing to pay for the testing of my products and others.

But since im a vendor im not neutral or not percieved as such.

ANyway, very sad to hear. I will do a small contribute to the dread cause, for now its the least i can do.

It is sad.

A project like this can be so impactful to the broader community. People sometimes can't easily test it themselves. By incentivizing them to get the tools they need to test the drugs they use; more people will do it. Also at the vendor side there is a really good value proposition to support a project like this. If you truly send what you list you have nothing to fear. But if competitors are cheaping out with more harmful ingredients having people test their stuff allows the good vendors to gain market share. A vendor who supports a project like this is providing users the test tools to verify the results of not only their stuff but their competitors.

There is something here that can work really well for the large scene itself. Give me a bit of time. I might have a really good value proposal.

I am going to PM you the concept i pitched to the meth dread and thegoodspeedguide. I put alot of thought in thinking about a neutral way i could contribute without tainting the objectivityu of it all. I have no fear and test all our batches anyway. So i would LOVE tests public. See who the shit vendors are. We as a team have only to gain with this since we stand behind our prductl. With exceptions, all vendors arent like back in the day: they all sell everything and specialize in none. Just trash trash trash jezus. Sorry, rant. But its KILLING PEOPLE.

I am on board for something like a testing concept. We realise now how lucky we are that we can trest for free anonymous and legal. Its INSNANE to deny people this right.

Wow. A damn fucking shame. I don't know what steveirwin had going on behind the scenes, but he created something truly great. Something like this absolutely should not and cannot be left to die.

Any possibility of Dread absorbing T4P, or starting a program yourselves? I don't know the logistics of it, and you guys have enough on your plates, but if it was a crowd funded resource, only accessible as funds are available... feasible? Maybe some of the markets would chip in ... maybe wishful thinking but a Dread official testing resource could be huge.

Fuuuuuck, that sucks. I agree on the desire to wanting to continue pushing forward, this kind of work is far too important, it's literally saving lives.

I would suggest in the future that any donated funds be controlled by a multi-sig wallet. Have it setup so that the requirements for sending funds out are high but not absolute (i.e. 2/3 or 3/5 but not 4/4, etc.).

One of my last few convos with Steve he was due to have the beta site of test4pay up and running the first week of September, I was supposed to be a beta tester of his test4pay platform. His responses kept getting a little more spaced out as September ran on. I was really looking forward to seeing the platform come to fruition.

From what he told me we used to talk almost daily there was going to be some really great things behind test4pay that was supposed to integrate with other platforms dread itself too...

I feel for /u/roadrunna1 and /u/mommabear

I know /u/roadrunna1 also just sent off a 1k donation.

IDK how much /d/super and /u/mommabear harm reduction campaign donated

I will likely just be utilizing those donation proceeds to provide more fentanyl test kits to continue to give away for free.

If another noteworthy cause comes along I will be allocating donation proceeds to whatever can superseed the series of unfortunate events that occurred here.

I myself had pledged to donate 1k every month to /d/test4pay so if another platform comes along.
I will happily allocate those funds to another noteworthy cause.

whomever can bring to light a comparable platform /d/test4pay just know I have 1k

I will happily donate on a monthly basis to help keep the platform alive.

Yes, the project is undeniably imperative to the community. It just seemed fishy as hell as i tried unsuccessfully to somehow join the project with my experience and testing facility availability. Never got any decent replies although i was actually never seeking any real monetary gain or reimbursement. It was a red flag i didn´t really pay attention to...

I also don't think that the arrest ( if it´s even true) was solely based on t4pay. It actually gave LE some indirect intelligence on vendors suspected of selling dangerous cut products. That way they can direct their attention to those. Just my opinion

I think a program like this is very valuable to the community.

One solution I would like to hear opinions on.

What about keeping the program going with a multisig wallet?

Bitcoin would be the easiest, and keeping track of the funds would be easier. The down side is it's bitcoin and I don't want to encourage anyone to use it.

XMR MS

Tougher to use, and the funds wouldn't be tracked, but a 2/3 MS wallet with a few trusted members could help ensure something like this doesn't happen again. If one is arrested, or vanishes the funds could still be moved out by the other 2 members, and a 3rd person could be added to the project to keep it as 2/3 MS. It might take longer for users to get paid, but I think it can at least help with preventing something like this from happening again.

/u/quasar1 you have a lot of experience in this area. What do you think?
/u/quasar1

Thanks for pinging me. Multi Sig is certainly an option here but we may also have a simpler solution as well. At Dark Matter, we have a fully managed escrow service that allows buyers, sellers and service providers to safely conduct transactions. I talked with /u/Blackmask and we would be willing to offer our escrow service for this program with a substantial discount from our usual fee. /u/Blackmask also had some ideas about how we could even implement an API for it. Let us know if you are interested and we'd be glad to help /u/shakybeats /u/paris /u/dontlaugh

bitcoin might have got old mate caught??

i still have a 2/2 wallet effwrk set up for 9000's attempt to do a Harm Reduction organisation. guy went awol so now the funds are lost - something to workshop with a multisig wallet.

multisig wallets still have their pitfalls, XMR or BTC.

IMO someone that has skin in the game should pony up. that way their reputation(or business) is invested in them not doing a runner with money.

Not sure I'll be donating anything towards a second fundraising goal. More than 100% of my XMR made Test4Pay went back into buying more reagents and dipsticks. There was zero profit. It did it it as a service to the community, the payments just significantly eased the burden.

u/TimothyWeary

Is my original account if you want to see my tests. I had just received a full box of reagents 2 weeks ago and was excited to get testing again but there are still some other things I need. My fucking question is, why aren't the markets chipping in for this? Literally one of the largest ketamine/oxy/heroin dealers on Bohemia openly sells fentanyl laced heroin - which he accidentally sent me instead of the 10 bags of ketamine shards I ordered. His recklessness could have killed someone and he respond with attitude and little threats.

I hope they don't turn into another WHM where if you make it above a certain amount of weekly sails, you're basically untouchable and can do whatever you want.

Certain markets do chip in. Just look at /post/f43d22c8f1d5b8103a19 and /post/d67d5d9f74a54eb9ce0d. Bigger markets don't have an easy way to scale these systems.

Can we start an open wallet that records (privately) where the donations come from? That way if it works, the biggest donaters can get credit if they wish. If we don't get enough in donations, everyone gets their XMR back.

Personally I'm waiting for a half grand in my Bohemia wallet I'm locked out of. My drive crash, taking the secret key with it (should have had made a backup). Thankfully the support staff was willing to replace my PGP key entirely after I proved enough knowledge that only I personally could know. Like who my recent DMs were with, my recent orders, my recent deposits, and most importantly, the specific details of those deposits because I still have access to the wallet (the rest was from memory).

Then that shit happened with all the AV's marking the 64bit version of the browser .exe as malware and guaranteeing it (quite often so strongly the user couldn't manually okay it). Then Bohemia started having troubles and I couldn't get it for 12 days. I was literally at the point in the conversation where the very nice admin was like "tell me you're replacement public key and I'll fix you up" and then BOOM, can't get into Bohemia. They suddenly have huge problems on their hands apparently. Much bigger than mine.

They were replying every 3-4 hours, but now that I've actually gotten logged into the emergency link about 4-5 times (maybe 3-5% of the times I actually tried and was successful), I've had no response from them since the last one ~2 weeks ago.

Once (if) I get access to my half grand in my market wallet, I'd happily donate to such a project. I was already manually testing drugs with reagents and dipsticks. Recently got sent 10g of heroin instead of ketamine and I'd love to do my "review" on that (it tested positive for fent by the way, 4 times, from 4 different parts of the bag) but I realized since I can't access my original account here either, that I'd just get accused of being a fake TimorhyWeary, and not the (semi) well known reviewer.

I feel like it's gonna be weeks before they get around to finishing my support ticket through, since they have much larger problems on their hands, and I don't want to harass hem about it

If we're honest here, the list of top 5 donators should be the biggest 5 English speaking DNM's. Except too many of them don't have rules against sell product with fent in it, or would ignore or even cover up a report if that vender makes a lot of money (just like WhiteHouseMarket did).

I would love to see this project continue, and if the legal complexities in the USA could be resolved or if we could at least find some viable solutions for sending and receiving samples safely it would really make a world of difference in terms of harm reduction and general education.

If anybody has some ideas on how this can be acomplished or wants to have a discussion about this topic I would love it if you would send a DM or simply reply here and start the dicussion on how we can start getting people like me with access to testing equipment connected with people who want to have their bags analyzed safely and dare I say, maybe even levally.
