No. The reason for the date stamped pic is to prove that you actually possess the product that you are reviewing and did not just grab a google image to use with a fake review. Using your phone or image software to add a date or naming a file with the current date proves nothing. It can be done using a google image.

Take a crumpled piece of paper. Write or print your user name or the vendor's user name on it along with the current date. Place that paper in contact with your product, either next to it or have the product on top of the paper with the required info peeking out for all to see. Take a picture of it.

remove the exif data (I have an iphone, so i use the app "Exif") - THIS IS VERY FUCKING IMPORTANT
post it to imgbb - if you would like to, there is a setting to have it auto delete the picture after x amount of days
