Off the top of my head.

Scams:
DarkNetEye
Changelly (default in Exodus wallet)

Selective scams:
Almost any swapper listed on Bestchange.
Any Russian swapper service that pretends to be a legitimate business.
Any swapper that Trocador rated "C" or lower.
There are too many, it would be easier to list services that are not selectively scamming.

Dishonest practices:
Dark.Fail and darkfailenbsdla5mal2mxn2uz66od5vtzd5qozslagrfzachha3f3id.onion - /post/6fc27b4574b4312eee8c/#c-ceb10a31c95598280a
MajesticBank - /post/2ff6927a3f19659b9658
freedom-tools.org/moneroguide/ - website MB uses to shill his service on Dread
Bestchange.com, bestchange.ru - once a good index now owned by Russian FSB. They turned shotgun KYC/ToS scams popular.

Bestchange is a scam now??

Fuck.

They actively encourage exchanges to engage in KYC/ToS scams (we seized your coins, now prove the legitimacy) by insisting that exchanges become a customer of their partner AMLBot. This is one of the main reasons these scams became so common. When somebody complains on Bestchange, the admins mediate by defending the service provider and deleting the negative reviews.

dark.fail is indeed losing popularity to daunt.link as some of its links are indeed phishing links that allow stealing usernames, passwords, and even cryptocurrency from gullible visitors who wrongly go to the fake website.

dark.fail earns money through donations and if the website owner is bribed enough money via XMR, then, they will add a phishing link.

there was an episode that dark.fail domain name was hijacked but this turned out to be a scam to defame Njal.la and promote Orangewebsite. dark.fail operator received lucrative bribes via XMR donations. I have never personally been scammed by Njal.la and I never had my domain name stolen by Njal.la. However, I note many haters of Njal.la are in the business of anonymous domain registration service and they want to spread FUD. Trustpilot reviews of Njal.la tend to be biased and anti Njal.la.

This is why Cloudflare lists dark.fail as a suspected phishing website, but it does not list daunt.link or tor.taxi.

We are not a selective scam. Rather than disparaging us here please provide evidence. Every single swap we have ever processed has a PGP-signed receipt that the customer receives including addresses. Provide proof, provide a receipt. Even provide it just to a trusted party rather than publicly sharing addresses. But preventing false claims of scams is exactly why we do PGP receipts. Nobody else does.

Nobody else does.

I replied to you on another thread and edited my post but there are other exchanges that sign transaction information. At least 2.

Dark.Fail took a bribe to list a phisher operated scampage.

More information here:
anir0y-scams[.]info or xxkdkmhcrw7mug2nhtorvsusrydoqtfxggeu3rxcxglh3jk7ltmlmeqd.onion (same website)

/post/de5ac15118e4e51abf19 (especially the comment by /u/TorDotFish)

Last message by /u/DarkDotFail: "Swp is not a phishing site. [...]"
/post/de5ac15118e4e51abf19/#c-3d803f45d3d57f21bd

Well let's what Dread users have to say:
"SCAMMED by swp.cx" - /post/0e746a8cdccd2abfc254
"Well I got scammed by swp.cx too" - /post/a18682ce71c58bff17e3

Technically he wasn't lying. It's not a phishing site but a scampage operated by a phisher.
IMO there should be an automated warning message when someone recommends dark.fail.

EDIT
According to SWP, they've known each other for a long time. Keep in mind, that there are well known and established services who asked to be listed and were ignored so to get listed on this index you should be friends with its owner.
Really makes me question which services are listed only because of popularity and which aren't.

Our competitor Exch has been running a FUD campaign against us for months and DDOSing our clearnet site. Our support team is responsive and there are no unresolved issues right now. Believe the FUD or try us out, we are not a scam.
/u/LondonKnives

There is no FUD campaign. Your initial design was a one to one clone of eXch, now you changed the layout and the colors a little. You also copied their ToS. I guess they didn't appreciate you pretending to be them, and made a website exposing your practices.

DDF took a bribe to list you despite stating that:
[...] dark.fail is supported by our users. No sites pay for placement or advertisements, no affiliate links have or will ever be used. If this resource has helped you please consider sending a contribution. [...]

Good for you but for him there is no coming back from this.

I don't want to test your service. Up until recently your website wasn't validating cryptocurrency addresses, you could input a single character as recipient address and proceed to receive a deposit address. As reported by many, swaps could take hours and you need to write an email to support (over Protonmail). So there was no actual automated system for swapping, if you were processing transactions at all, you were doing it manually.

So there are dishonest practices, false advertisement (not an automated swapper), stealing the design of a reputable exchange, almost certainly operated by a phisher "Animesh Roy", and the list goes on.

The validation issue lasted a very short time and was quickly fixed months ago and a bug bounty was paid. That's not "recently".

Sorry for such a late reply! No I did not get my funds. Turned out to be a phishing site. I use eXch now & haven't had a problem yet (except when the XMR reserves run out -- just a matter of waiting).

I'm still waiting for $73 worth of xmr from trying to convert btc through InfinityExchange from Friday. Trying to remain in hope and good faith that there just was an error somewhere which will be resolved, as it came recommended by someone who had demonstrated some trustworthiness, but other than a short reply on the thread I started, telling me they sent my funds to a wallet address with excerpts that fit my own and where they should have ended up, all attempts to make contact have been ignored.

Over and over and over, sir, and my wallet still tells me "No Transactions Yet." under my xmr and a balance of zero since having sent my btc to their deposit address.

I can't even do a block chain scan for errors as is an option in my wallet because I've not been given a TXID or block chain number. So yeah, 5 days and my funds have not been received and I'm still politely trying to have my issue explored and being disregarded. :/

Alight, first and foremost what wallet are you using? You shouldn't wait five days to know something is wrong. Exit your wallet. Make sure you have the latest version. Restart your system. Make sure your are fully synchronized.

I'm glad it was only $73

I website to the site. The fact that they did they not have a contact page made me dislike it immediately.

Now, IMMEDIATELY on the clearnet I found a scam site. Only to find out that they ONLY have a Tor site.

What URL did you use?

http://exchanger.dhme3vnfeleniirt5nxuhpmjsfq5srp44uyq2jyihhnrxus7ibfqhiqd.onion (real)
https://exchanger.infinity.taxi (real)
https://www.infinity.exchange <------------------ not them

I'm using Now Wallet, and no I've been trying to resolve this since last Friday, and just trying to avoid defamatory remarks that would only make it harder to get my funds back.

Wallet is updated and all is synced.

http://exchanger.rjocosf2mfgkrlsrr5k52nb4lbldhiazajqcjtr35w2ulumlbggnmmad.onion/

Tor site and the link I used, vendor recommended direct link, and InfinityProject replied directly concerning my transfer, confirming I sent it and they received it, so from what I can tell, that says that it at least went to the people representing InfinityExchange.

I just wanted to keep this alive, because InfinityExchange has done zero to resolve the situation of my missing xmr, equating to theft. It's been 9 days, the post on here is the only contact I've had with them. They do not respond on Jabber or on private messaging on here.

Way to go, you stole money from someone on disability with 25% heart function. Do you feel good about it?

Vigorswap.io

Maybe not an actual scam but they seem to be having issues and support is mostly not responding. Many reports seem to surface of other people like me who have been waiting for the swap to go through. It has now been delisted on kyconot.me as well.

Seen a few scammy bridge vendors pop up recently.
Good bridge work = no links, just clean flow & good TX discipline.
Been handling a few for Asia region — stay sharp everyone.
