Trying to remove footprint from clearnet and also instaling tails : OpSec | Torhoo darknet markets

So over the past while I've been;
deleting facebook
deleting gmail accouints i no longer use
deleting this deleting that to as much of a degree as possible

so I bought myself a USB stick and want to install Tails on it for the DNM shit and i can have my laptop for the normal shit

does this seem right? am I doing the right thing? if Im retarded please be frank.

USB stick. I guess now I find that tutorial on installing tails properly..

Just keep it simples, and separate you clearnet stuff from DNM stuff, like emails and xmpp, always use PGP on emails and you should be good if you keep your mouth shut.

"Bibles and Guides". much information about installing tails. doing it on USB stick is correct, i switch them up every once in a while and prefer to find the smallest ones to hide easiest or even a microsd card reader and micro sd card. micro sd are 15x11x1mm. extremely small. all USB options can be removed in case of emergency making them useless without your persistent password/wallet seeds/market account info.

personally do not believe in any reason to wipe youre clearnet presence unless you have correlation between two like bravo said. if your facebook login is bigballz69420@gmail.com and you make your name on dread bigballz69420 you are the lowest of the low hanging fruit and will probably get scooped up eventually. not having these things does give them less information to draw from but not incriminating yourself works just as good. dont talk on DN about going to taj mahal if u live in pradesh india and post pictures of it on IG. dont talk about going to golden gate bridge if u live nearby. everything u say and do can be used to narrow down the number of people u may be.

keep darknet and clearnet activities totally separate. always use PGP for sensitive communication. dont run ur mouth about what ur doing. buy from reputable vendors.

You need two USB sticks to get Tails running. You download the Installer on one USB and use that to install Tails onto another USB. Head over to /d/Tails if you need any help, assuming you're on windows here's the step by step: https://tails.net/install/windows/index.en.html

Wrong advice. One USB is enough, although you can clone a live Tails session running from a USB, into another (secondary) USB; this method requires two USBs.

Be sure to use the genuine Tails first. If you don't, it is a game over even before you start. Most people don't get the logic behind the verification and authentication process ;)

Be sure to get the genuine Tails PGP key first. Everything else depends on it. Use other, separate multiple channels than the one on Tails website. The website itself can be compromised whether directly or through the MITM attack.

Most of the people we had a chance to deal with get it all from the Tails website - PGP key, signature, hashes as well as the installation package. They don't seem to get the point behind the PGP verification. It is there just to mitigate the malicious website so logically you don't rely on it, right? ;)

You have to sacrifice a lot, but the payday is the best feeling. First, be careful, before deleting emails make sure you don't need anything else from them (Like cloud info, bank account details, social media accounts, etc), after double checking it then you may proceed. Before getting into the dark net, I recommend you to read the DNM Bible, that page will tell you how to install tails and even more relevant information about OpSec. I know, but I have this paranoia where my neighbors can somehow access my computer, internet phone, all that. So it leads me to delete emails and passwords a LOT. I've been on the DN since SR1 but haven't been the best at my OPSEC I'll be honest with you because I thought it didn't matter but as I get older....

No need to be a ghost. I have instagram, old facebook that i dont use , more then 15 gmails, and its okay bro dont worry about that.
You just cant connect "Engraved" with "Jonh Doe" pretending this is your name. If there is any correlation between this two you are fucked.

On tails you are safe yea personally i stopped using it then went to qubes but dont do it if you are not a advanced user it is a lot easier to fuck something up, also it is daily troubleshooting at the start.

About installing tails just write it into a usb and its done xd its that easy, make a persitent storage in it and add your keepass xc database in it and you will be fine
