but AlphaBay have talking to implement a "decentralized" place for vendors to sell for free?
We are working on a decentralized marketplace network where any market can create their own brand, vendors their own shops etc. That does not mean it will be free as developers and network operators need to be paid and incentivized in order to do the work. Demo is scheduled for late 2022/early 2023 however with the speed everything is going the demo might come even earlier than that.

Thank you.

Alpha. You have an opportunity to seize success. Be transparent. listen to both buyers and vendors. Don't do it your way or the highway. That's arrogance, ignorance and not beneficial to you and you'll be the one taking the highway. Consider the customer's needs, wants and opinions. That is what you depend on. That's how big successful business in the real world strive. They listen, learn and take surveys to know their customers. Be open to constructive criticism. It's to your benefit. I speak from experience. Been a successful entrepreneur for long time. learn from other mistakes. Never censor a comment or post on your sub. It breeds distrust. That is what Darkoke did. If you are of integrity let them express themselves and prove their point. If you're on point you can easily refute and disprove their claims or call them out they on their bullshit. People are not as stupid as you think. Think of buyers first. Make sure you give support as needed. Vendors statistically scam buyers more than buyers to vendors. Be fair and just. Darkode used vendors to increase their profit at the expense of buyers. Look where they are now at. You need not make a lot of noise. You actions speaks for itself. There is no better way to attract customers than by referrals. You do right, others will tell and recommend their friends to you. In no time, You will be on top. Just don't forget how you got there. Either you understand me or you don't. But the information has been given to you.
You can see we are already doing all of that. Even with things such as direct pay, that in my opinion is only a marketing trick nothing more (or how some markets say 'walletless' when that is not the case at all), I have implemented and will enable this or early next week so we definitely listen to our community same as we did before.

Thank you.
If you bring back the old AlphaBay front end skin/UI, people will fock there. It was so clean and intuitive. What do you think of that idea?

The new UI is clunky and seems a little slow. No offense intended.
Markets like empire and others that have copied it and scammed have put a bad taste to it hence why I do not want to use it at all. It also lacked consistency everything was all over the place.

Also the new one is very intuitive we have gotten lots of compliments about it. When it comes to speed that depends on your connection and how the site is fetched as we use multiple layers to anonymize the connection to the core servers. Most importantly though the connection is stable, I am rolling out private mirrors this week so they will be a bit faster.

In what way do you feel the new UI is clunky? Every page tells you exactly where you are so you can never get lost and all pages are consistent. We also have the menu on the bottom to even further reinforce the flow.

Thank you.
People really love the old AB user interface, including me, and I think it was a large part of Empire's success (top market for a long time) honestly because their support was horrid.

Since you asked, AB makes you relogin too often.

No images bigger than 400 kb allowed? Why?

No avatars for vendors? Why?

The search engine could use some more work.

The vendor's listings page does not display enough of the listing titles so you can't tell which listing you're editing. Say your listing titles are "1 gram of Ketamine" and "1 gram of MDMA" you won't know which one is which since all you can see is "1 gram o..."

The same goes for the vendor's shipping options pages. Just make the fields longer so we can see the full title.

Every time you write an apostrophe anywhere, it renders in HTML code or some #@%^#& crap when it posts like "don#@%^#&t do that" It's very annoying.

The ship-from ship-to drop down list has the United States inexplicably listed twice and there are a few other countries listed a few times too.

It will be nice to see direct pay. Thanks. Buyers should not have to deposit more than the amount they're spending and trust you to hold the excess money.
>> No images bigger than 400 kb allowed? Why?
Maximum is 2 MB I believe but it might be be 1 but for sure not 400kb. There is something else wrong with the image if it is not being uploaded.

>> No avatars for vendors? Why?
>> The search engine could use some more work.
>> Every time you write an apostrophe anywhere, it renders in HTML code
>> The ship-from ship-to drop down list has the United States
Already all in the update coming this week as I had announced previously.

>> The vendor's listings page does not display enough of the listing titles so you can't tell which listing you're editing.
I believe this was fixed long time ago.

Thank you.
That's nice to hear these updates are coming.

It's 400 kb. I tried to upload an image last week.

I believe this was fixed long time ago.

It was still a problem last week.
Open a support ticket I guarantee you it is not 400kb.

>> It was still a problem last week.
I will look into it I might have not applied the update, I also vividly remember I change to display full text on few pages this one might have been missed. Consider it done by the end of the business week.

Thank you.
Thanks for not just brushing all this off. I'll login and take some more notes on what needs improvement, but those were the big things that really stuck out for me.

Oh right, one more thing! We shouldn't have to resize TorBrowser to make the site fit within it. It would be nice if the site was more responsive and compact.
>> Thanks for not just brushing all this off.
We would never do that, our approach to customer support is what we used to do before with forefront being transparency.

>> We shouldn't have to resize TorBrowser to make the site fit within it.
I had a fix for that a month or so ago but I could not find the fix notes I made so I will have to look into it again, something to do with boostrap. Most likely also fixed within this week.

Thank you.
Images

You're right about the images. I uploaded a 1.7 MB image after a few errors / timeouts. I swear it was an issue last week, but that's great news.

On this page, vendors are editing a listing's images.
onion/edit_listing_images

We click on the Browse button to and then "Replace" a currently displayed image with a new image, the image is not replaced. The new image is just added as image #2.

How is it possible to have an empty Primary Image? The first available image should default to the primary image. That should certainly be changed. Why do I have to click extra buttons and slowly load extra pages?

Your image upload rules say "Image names MUST be alphanumeric, no underscores or any special characters" but it's not totally true because I uploaded an image with an _ in the title. It's displaying.

Listings

I just realized this other thing is only something that happens with INACTIVE listings, but clicking on a listing link on the Vendor Listings page such as /listing?id=43717 seems like an option to view your listing, but it redirects to the homepage. We need a way to view what the public listing looks like even when it's inactive. The same thing happens if a vendor clicks on their Listing ID number on the Listing Edit page. Listing ID: 8303 <-- link redirects to the homepage when listing is inactive. I would like to review my listing before I make it active so I don't need to edit it yet again after very slowly loading another 3 pages.

It would be nice to be able to click an "In/activate" button to activate or inactivate a listing from the listings_overview page without having to load yet another page to click that button.

Speaking of buttons, why can't I right-click a button and load a new tab from the cursor/ink menu like normal? I don't want to leave the page I'm on. I just want to load that other page. I'm going to need to go back to that listings page and I'd rather not load it YET AGAIN!

On the listings_overview page for vendors, in the "Active" column, it would be nice to see the text that says "Inactive" next to a listing title be displayed in dark red and the text that says "Active" in dark green, so we can quickly scan visually by color. Or make the background behind that text light red and light green or something with colors to help us visually scan quickly. If we could sort listings by clicking on the column header, that could also be helpful.

On this page for a listing:
.onion/edit_listing_discounts

This could use a few improvements on the discount pricing for bulk things.

When I enter a quantity range, under "Quantity To-From pcs*" it would be great to enter a discount for range 1 to 1. Range 2 to 2. Range 3 to 3 and so forth. I would like to discount each piece, not just pieces 1-2 making ordering 1 OR 2 the same price per item. Ordering 2 should get you a discount, but currently that's not possible.

It would also be clutch to optionally set a price per item in a range instead of a Percentage Discount for an item. Why do you want me force me to do so much math and spend so much time per listing calculating % discounts? I like the Percent Discount option, so don't take that away, it would be nice to allow for another method of discounting than by percentage. You should also display the price along with the % discount to the customer, so they can know the price instead of having to calculate it or just choosing the wrong amount and loading yet more pages they shouldn't need to load. Just make another column that shows the price range for that quantity range.

I would also like to be able to put the " sign in a listing or on any page and have it rendered as "

If I try to edit too different listing pages and submit the edit within the same 5 second window or so on both of the pages, one will be submitted and one will error out.

Top Menu

It's ok, but it's too wide and funky. I would stack those first 3 buttons (Home, Forum, Roadmap) on top of the last 3 buttons (Blog, My Cabinet, Notifications) and decrease the total required wideness of the site. There's a lot of space that seems like it could be filled in, but it sounds like you're already planning to change that soon.

Profiles

I assume profile text for vendor news is coming at some point. We need it.
>> We click on the Browse button to and then "Replace" a currently displayed image with a new image, the image is not replaced. The new image is just added as image #2.
Are you sure it does not replace the image? If you are uploading the same image it might seem like it is being added. I have added to check this regardless as a workaround I suggest delete the image and upload a new one.

>> How is it possible to have an empty Primary Image? The first available image should default to the primary image. That should certainly be changed. Why do I have to click extra buttons and slowly load extra pages?
Some digital vendors might not want or need an image to their product hence why it is allowed. It should not be loading slowly. Edit: I checked this and it is loading the full image instead of a downsized version. A fix for that is easy and I will apply it within a few hours.

>> Your image upload rules say "Image names MUST be alphanumeric, no underscores or any special characters"
I believe I made it allow underscores as lots of vendors had underscore in their image names but have not updated that text.

>> Speaking of buttons, why can't I right-click a button and load a new tab from the cursor/ink menu like normal? I don't want to leave the page I'm on.
The design choice was simple for this one. We want vendors to create one listing for all of their quantities not clone listings multiple times cluttering the search results. That is one of the things that the new update will be improving on. So in that regard the design is like that on purpose. If you want you can always right click the mouse or click anywhere else and load another tab.

>> I would like to discount each piece, not just pieces 1-2 making ordering 1 OR 2 the same price per item. Ordering 2 should get you a discount, but currently that's not possible.
That is possible. Simply do not create any discount for 1 but create for 2 pieces.

>> Just make another column that shows the price range for that quantity range.
That will be available already in the new update. When viewing listings buyers will be able to see your discounts and the price range say you sell weed 7-14grs at 10% discount that will display the prices per gram (gram=pieces, pcs another thing that will be able to be changeable).

When it comes to the vendor side the math is relatively simple you only calculate the price between what is normally - e.g. 14 grams times 10 USD totaling 140 USD, but with 14% discount that comes down to around 120 USD. Again with the new update it will be easier for customers to see the prices how you are describing it even so if we are using the percentage discount system. After the update feel free to send me a message and let me know if that is appropriate going forward.

>> I would also like to be able to put the " sign in a listing or on any page and have it rendered as "
I did not get this one.

>> If I try to edit too different listing pages and submit the edit within the same 5 second window or so on both of the pages, one will be submitted and one will error out.
There is a rate limit on multiple levels. As your account grows whether vendor or customer so will that limit. Usually it is not needed to edit multiple pages.

>> We need a way to view what the public listing looks like even when it's inactive.
>> It would be nice to be able to click an "In/activate" button to activate or inactivate a listing from the listings_overview page without having to load yet another page to click that button.

>>> I assume profile text for vendor news is coming at some point. We need it.
Will be added with the update this week.

I appreciate the comprehensive feedback.

Thank you.
Thank you.

>> I would like to discount each piece, not just pieces 1-2 making ordering 1 OR 2 the same price per item. Ordering 2 should get you a discount, but currently that's not possible.

That is possible. Simply do not create any discount for 1 but create for 2 pieces.

No I mean the discount quantity is a range that is forced to be too large.

Like 2 to 3 items = 5% discount
But we need an option to make 2 to 2 items = 5% discount
and 3 to 3 items = 7% discount instead of 2 to 3 items = 5% discount.

Currently it requires that it be two different numbers like 2 to 4 items or 3 to 5 items per discount. We need discounting possible when a customer orders 2 items instead of 1 and further possible discounting if they order 3 items. And further discounting on a 4th item and so forth.

>> I would also like to be able to put the " sign in a listing or on any page and have it rendered as "
I did not get this one.

I just mean that the quote symbol (") renders as html code like the apostrophe (') sybmol when it posts.
>> No I mean the discount quantity is a range that is forced to be too large.
I understand now. That will be changed I agree with it. What the system is actually doing is making sure there is no overlap but in the edge case you presented, it must allow it.

>> I just mean that the quote symbol (") renders as html code
That is fixed in the update as well.

Thank you.

They shouldn't feel offended. That's whats it's all about: Constructive criticism. I knew Darkode was always planning to Exit Scam because they never changed anything.

Good to hear. I get that from you and that's why I took my time to comment on that. I took on Darkode and went toe to toe with them and called them out on their bullshit. We wagered on the outcome. Their arrogance had no affect on me because I knew what they were doing. That's due to me being a psychologist and observing their actions, behavior and patterns. I told them TIME WILL REVEAL ALL. And that time has come. I want to see you or any market succeed because there is a need for this service and that benefits all. Good luck. I have an account with you and will be looking out as to your progress.

LOL. NO. I was the one who made the first comment here and you were the one to misconstrued my last comment on the post we both know what we are talking about and I went ahead and explained myself as to where the confusion laid. I got no beef with you. I'm hoping you have no beef with me. Why should we have any beef? We are both commenting on something we find a common interest in. The more I contribute to the community the more than likely I'm going to bump heads with someone and not necessarily in a negative way. As of now, it seems that is the case between us and we are getting to know each other. If you really want to get a feel as to what I am all about and where I stand, then feel free to go tru my comments. Then you will see what I'm really all about. And as of things stands now, I am not about making you an enemy. I have no enemy. I don't accept that in my life.

Exactly. We make the markets. Not the other way around. No trust on market=no buyers. No buyers=No Vendors. No Vendors=No Market. It's time for people to wake up and realize that and demand they provide what we are looking for. The one that is wise enough to realize that gets the reward.
The truth Is non of these Markets are Up to par, They All seem to be chucked together quickly and Are out dated. Markets From 2016 had features that are not available on These Markets, Its like everyone took a step back. And in this climate of DDOS etc, There should be as Least page changes as Posible. In Out Over and out. You can tell Most of These geezers never sold items on Ebay lest alone vended on the dark Internets.

i'm a mod at alphabay i'm biased in the way of speech and don't want to start anything but loads of archetyp shills in the past months on every topic accounts created in the last few months looking at the guys comments they are all about archetyp. Markets whom rely on these ways aren't a choice for me as a consumer
/d/Archetyp is a drugs-only marketplace and really nice looking. "Walletless" direct pay is implemented. It seems good.

If their only goal was to exit scam, they could make their pot of gold bigger by accepting all kinds of listings and never implementing "walletless" direct pay.

I was having hope for Versus. But I'm hearing support is not that great. Don't know about ASAP though. It would be useful and beneficial if you can go into details about your opinions and experiences about each market.
Asap Is cool, and You can tell They Are Very Passionate about it,but are in Over The Head, Same issues of it just Not being that ''Ivy Leauge firm''Build. I suppose Alphabay is the next??
I love Snake like a Brother In law but for Fucs sake. its Like Sanford and sons over there with The clutter. Can We just get a simple Piece/Unit/Gram deduction system??
Alphabay UI is a nightmare and overcomplicated. They need an overhaul and to rethink and just keep it extremely simple.

i find it pretty simple actually i dont know how its on the vendor side
I would disagree on that. The UI is intuitive and streamlined with everything visible to both buyers and vendors without any issues such as getting lost or not knowing where functions are like it was on dark0de for example.

Feel free to open a support ticket or name specific suggestions to improve it we are always open to feedback.

Thank you.
I have spoken to you before about my feedback on the market and the issues I experienced were some of the reasons that stopped me listing. And also at that time there was a huge lack of customers. I don't know if there have been major changes since then, but if so, and if the issues have been fixed I would be keen to become Active on your marketplace.
Visit the market and let us know in the support tickets what issues you are having with, Staff is always quick to respond, help out and/or relate feedback to me.

Thank you.
PS thank you for your corteous, dignified, professional reply.
/d/AbacusMarket usings AlphaBay 1.0's front end UI and it's smooth as silk. They have bitcoin multisig and traditional escrowed BTC and XMR. Vendor history from Recon auto-populates after you get a vendor account which automatically wavied my vendor bond after I verified with my old pgp key.

That's too general of a comment. Please give details as to why you hold that position.
1. I'm a Vendor there
2. I have personally communicated with the Admin a multitude of times
3. He does his upmost to fight DDOS and has always got his market back online
4. I have never had a single concern vending on that market.
5. User interface is sooo simple.

And if you were to be transparent and objective, how do you think, if you know, it will be for buyers. You have understand to the domino effect here. Buyers are the consumers. No buyers=No vendors. No Vendors=No Market. I know for a fact that a lot of markets including Darkode favored vendors over buyers so long as the vendors was a "whale" and attracted buyers and thus profit for the market. If it applies, meaning you have experience with it , have buyers gotten the same share of fairness as buyers? If you have not have the opportunity to provide that information then feel free to say so. Then I'll be on the lookout to hear from a buyer's perspective.
If I'm completely honest, I have no experience as a buyer. But my experience as a Vendor has been pleasant, in terms of my communications with the support team and the Admin. I haven't heard of any issues though from buyers.
/d/Archetyp should be the next big thing. IMO the best market with a dedicated boss like /u/YosemiteGhostWrite

It's quite clear what markets will be biggest it's all about usability, the main reason dark0de got so big. It was so obvious it would exit but everybody just turned a blind eye

We only used it as it got us a lot of sales but it was the worst market we've ever vended on.

Anyway, ASAP & Archetyp will 100 percent be the biggest markets IMO.

I must respectfully disagree. Although not a Vendor, I have contacts with many vendors. It was not about usability, it was about "marketing". Darkode made it their business ( with external assistance, which I will not get into it) to have the masses flock to them. It was equally bad for both vendors and buyers. With the exception of some vendors who was working and benefited with darkode (again, for practical reason I can not divulge that information at this juncture). Let us just all agree that when it comes to Darkode it's GOOD RIDDANCE
