I don't believe this anymore. I think the main two reasons Marijuana is still criminalized is -
1. Jails/Prisons/Criminal Systems are big money still
2. Gives Federal Officers probable cause to look for other things if they "smell Marijuana."

I could be wrong on this, But I think its about how we barter and trade and less about the drug itself. Drugs get rid of the big middle man being
the government. Hell our needs in life all have big Gov as the facilitator of what is "accepted" and whats not. Plus with the fact you can make it a business and tax free, oh yeah they wont be happy about that at all. Its all numbers and metrics at the end of the day.

Just thinking here, but what if a some of things they have made illegal made a demand, thus a larger market than any legal form of it could have made. After time, decriminalize slowly and stick their paws in it for tax revenue. Tapping into a market that grew far and wide while being illegal. It just seems to me once they either can't keep up with it or they see a large profit, they do the same thing almost as if it was meant to end up that way.
