🚨 Vendor Awareness Thread — $12K Deal Gone Wrong 🚨 : coke | Torhoo darknet markets

1/ Something I ordered from the West Coast was shipped last Monday(june 30). Delivery was delayed, with no tracking updates for almost 3 days over the weekend. I assumed it was due to the holiday.

2/ This morning, tracking finally updated to “Delivered.” But after checking security cameras—nothing arrived. No delivery attempts from anyone.

3/ A friend called the local store and asked about the tracking. They said:

“This tracking number was never going to your address.”
It was delivered somewhere else, but they refused to give the delivery address due to “security reasons.”

4/ I double-checked the label the vendor sent me—everything is correct. Name, address, zip, etc.

So what happened here?

5/ Later tonight, I checked Informed Delivery, and—there were never any scans of the tracking number tied to my address. At all.

6/ The vendor has now blocked me on Threema.
I’ve given him until midday today to respond and make this right.

7/ Unfortunately, this was an off-market deal worth around $12,000. I have no connection to any drop, and I trusted the process.

8/ Posting this to raise awareness and possibly get insight from others who’ve experienced something similar. What do you think is going on here?
Should I be worried?

Will blast the vendor every single day if he does not make it right by end of day today.

THIS DUDE HAD ME WAITING FOR AN ALLEGED PACKAGE HE SENT OF WORK BUT HE FOOLED ME. HE SENT IM SURE NOTHING TO A NEARBY ADDRESS TO MAKE IT SEEM LIKE HE SENT SOMETHING. THERE WERE NEVER ANY SCANS ON THE INFORMED DELIEVERY. HE IS A THEIF, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HIM. I WILL EXPOSE HIM EVERY SINGLE DAY. ALSO WHEN I SENT HIM THE 12K HE CLAIMED HE NEVER GOT THE LAST 4K CAUSE I SENT IT TO THE SAME XMR ADDRESS TWICE BUT IT CAN ONLY RECIEVE ONCE. IVE SENT HIM MONEY TO THE SAME XMR MULTIPLE TIMES. This is the risk you take when you deal off market. Of course there's some on market risk as well, but why did you not want to use a market? As far as I know they don't even have FE privileges.

Because there was a huge price break from the quanity I was getting. He shipped a first order and said I can pay upon delivery so he can show that hes legit. The next order was the big one I wanted to place, I sent him 12k xmr - and have given him mroe than enough time to make it right and he has not. He shipped nothing to an address near the drop to make it seem like he shipped to me, when my drop checked informed delivery last night - there was never any scans from that tracking #. trust me this is the last thing I want to be doing is typing all this about someone that I thought was legit. Hes blocked all communications with me. How do I send to modmail?

I messaged him on DH and he wanted to go direct, I'm not a big fan of off market but he also stopped responding to me as well. So something is definitely up.

You can prove even if it's PGP encrypted. There is a lesser known PGP feature that allows a 3rd party to read a message without possession of the private key.

So if the vendor asked for off market deal customer should definitely report and vendor will get banned. But for a deal that took place off market, nothing we can do.
