I recently tried to kill myself and was caught as I was attempting to slit my wrist. My family was confused about why I would do something like that, and my friends were worried. I've explained to them that I know my suicide would cause them pain, but I don't care. I've never been good at connecting with people, so I never cared about how they would suffer after I'm gone. After all, it wouldn't be my problem. I didn't send a note to anyone, even though I had one prepared. I just grabbed something that looked sharp and started sawing at my wrist. Thankfully, the blade was too dull and I was caught right as I was actually about to hit a vein. I'm doing better now, but things have been rough. For anyone considering suicide, just think it over for a few days before jumping into it. Give yourself time to have regrets in case of any regrets that might still be there. If you're going to kill yourself, make sure it's what you absolutely want. There's no going back once you truly commit.

Having lost someone to this course of action I can say that there is always someone who cares. In places you might not expect. At work, school, social settings( no idea what people do these days but it sounded applicable) even on dread.

Just keep that in mind. After all we are all in this together and the one constant between every person here on earth is noone gets out alive..

Stigma, Most people do not understand the work you do and probably just watch what the news says about hackers. For me after I got done watching Mr robot I undertstood that there are to sides to hackers. (as well as my own personal research). I only think people judge more of exploiting rather then Pentesting/auditing.
