Maybe they came back as Infinity. They have the technical skills to start up an exchange that requires little to no KYC/AML. They can do it again.
Rinse and repeat.
Honestly, it is probably the smartest move they have made yet, as they have a presence on r/Monero, and God forbid LEA prying up their asses for having a presence on dread also.
Money laundering and all that you know.
They also claim on reddit to have made substantial donations to the Monero community.
Could have been a sign of one last hurrah, “thanks for the fish” before heading out to burning man to decompress.

>>>Maybe they came back as Infinity. They have the technical skills to start up an exchange that requires little to no KYC/AML. They can do it again.

What is the benefit in this? The difference between two exchangers and one is very significant.
On our exchanger, the errors that exist on Majestic Bank have been fixed, and in particular with exchanges where funds are withdrawn to XMR (Monero), it would be strange to fix it in one place and not do it in another, damaging the reputation.

You can assume this, but if you look at it a bit from the point of view of benefits and meaning, you will realize that it is generally meaningless and not profitable.

We are not connected by business relations with our competitors, you can think as you want, but we cannot ignore your assumption, I hope you understand why we are responding to this.

They cannot be cleaned in this way, on the contrary, the coins only become dirtier.

They, like us, often accept dirty coins, which affects the overall purity of our reserves, so this will not clean the coins, this is not even a way to clean them, on the contrary, make them only dirtier.

You saying /u/mr_white is behind /u/InfinityProject . Fuck, after 80mg of /u/ketamed DCK. The evidence is more than just forever on dread.
I mean dread does purge their content, so technically, nothing is forever on the internet. But you know what I mean.

You should of course use caution but the admin is still active and there hasn't been reports of transactions not arriving. Still very strange.

It could be also that they are busy doing legal things and do not need to be associated with dread.
It could mean cutting of funds or more for the people behind MajesticBank.
Recent news about dragnet like sweeps on devs and contributors does not make the crypto sphere players comfortable right now. With exchanges getting hit once again, making most DEX feels the ripples of these effects in the crypto sphere you know?

I was just on r/Monero, and the consensus there is that even though we went through a major fork upgrade, Haveno is being used in the live. Someone actually used the atomic swaps, but mentioned it is just about the most expensive swap they have ever had to bare witness to.
We are still in Moneros infancy stage, so kinks need to be worked out, and bugs will be found abound.
Reminds me of the situation xchange.me went through. Were when some regulations passed, suddenly their services were no longer available. They didn’t run off with anyone's funds far as I know, just stopped offering an onion / hidden service front end and the ability to swap crypto without KYC/AML.
In fact, Kilos swapping process is exactly like that of xchange.me.
To bad they are gone. It is always good to have multiple options to swap coins.
So far, the best one is LocalMonero.

What are your thoughts on that?

Maybe you should keep your mouth shut and focus on your project. you are what only 500 exchanges recently? Thats nothing. You have no right to an opinion haha. its like a tiny market having a go at a huge market thats just exit scammed having to get their word in the matter when they have no place. are you a user impacted by this? no. you will only benefit from the increase in users. so again, keep yo mouth shut or you come across as insensere and tone deaf. also no one asked for your opinion as a business did they. you wanna donate to the morons that used another service other than your tiny new starter? focus on yourself..... talk later

I have nothing against your business and I wasnt caught up in any of this mess im just making a point

Who exactly is claiming that they've been scammed by Infinity? I have yet to see a single report of this.

Are you ready to prove your words?
Or will it be from the category: Did I say that because I think so?

You are violating a global rule until you provide proof of your claims:
4) No sharing of fear mongering content, with no factual basis or evidence. (AKA NO FUD)
