You can say what you want about tor, but there's surely not a single week passing by without some remarkable story happening: archetyp seized, antidark.net hacked (twice!), Abacus exit, now Dread giving us a scare... I can but only wonder what will next week bring!
My grandfather used a lot an old saying, "tattica del bastone e della carota", which I think it translates to we get sometimes steered by positive things (antidark.net hack) and sometimes by getting kicked in the butt (DNMs closing). But in the long run I think the community will get stronger and more resilient by facing these.
Dread has a Subreddit called /r/DreadAlert. If you see a lot of active people on that forum - usually you aren't the only one experiencing the issue! :)
Giving us quite the scare lol.
I still can remember the Mighty Dread Outage from back in 2021 (or was it 2022?)...
A little after it that cunt DeSnake pulled the plug on Alphabay 2.
Fucking crazy times.
It's $50
