It is just a matter of the precursor chems getting more strictly regulated?

I'll preface this by saying that I think DNM MDMA has never been higher purity -- there are all these vendors with FTIR tested goods that are about as pure as you can physically get in an HCL form. It's smooth and relaxing and mellow with a nice come-up and minimal comedown.

BUT .... I sure miss the special kind of high that some of the MDMA the OG sellers were hawking. I still have a tiny supply of some MDMA from a few different vendors of that era from over a decade ago, and there is zero doubt that the high is different. Whatever impurities were in the safrole made a big difference.

I'd be interested to know if anyone knows of any vendors selling safrole-based MDMA, or other formulations that capture some of that original magic.
