As I've mentioned, I've gave them 48 hours to respond to me. Then the official warning goes live, its unacceptable how long this has been going on. This should have been handled weeks ago while I wasn't here.
What would be gained by closing the subdread while there are still moderators available there? Closing the barn doors after the horses escaped? Is anyone still making deposits to a market that can't be logged in to? Why not leave it up in case /u/M00nkey comes back from his surprise honeymoon, covid, Gaza rescue? I am not injecting false hope but he ain't been gone that long yet.
As far as I know it wasn't exactly an established market, or am I wrong? New markets dying don't often warrant a full site-wide announcement of any sort, unless there is a lot of users left in limbo with their money. Correct me if I'm wrong if it had took off massively in the space of the last 2 months?
Desnake created m00nkey and paid for alot of advertisements with alphabay money. Should have spent some alphabay loot on coding a better market that doenst look exactly like the worst coded market in history.
They was running access to their marketplace via clear net links.
I criticized them about this a few weeks ago in which m00nkey himself wanted to fight me with his comments then ultimately deleted them.
I dont know if you will see this, but my post of receiveing 160k thru a direct XMR bug on the site is real and I can sit down with you and prove it anyway you need me to. Its since been removed by moderators, but Its definitely a large factor in why all this went down.
we havent had any issues with /d/bohemia , /u/hugbunter if you want any info feel free to message us, but we have recieved all of our money from them & dont have any problems vending on there site
It's good to hear, but seems there are stories of success and failure, so if it isn't solved then a warning needs to be live on here and it should be avoided until solved realistically. I was told yesterday the Admin will contact me... he still hasn't. Wasting time when user funds are at stake is crazy.
Most vendors including myself have gotten all our funds but very late. There were some big big vendors who up to 2 days ago were still complaining about having large amounts of money missing for months but then yesterday most of them claimed they all got paid. There still might be a couple vendors out there with legit payment issues not associated with having broken rules but it seems most have been made whole. The biggest factor right now is the big delays in withdrawals. It is like they took care of their months long ledger/bug/theft issues by giving the vast majority of people their money but doing so by withholding larges amounts from a handful of very top guys. Now that that seems to have been resolved it seems they are now greatly delaying withdrawals by paying for them with new money that comes in. It seems like they really have been trying to get back to an honest site with accounting tricks and loopholes for months now due to a ledger issue that may have or may not have been fixed yet. I think the honest intent is there, but if they have an accounting issue they haven't been able to fix yet then all the good will and intentions in the world will eventually not be able to fix it. In the end all ponzi schemes (even unintentional ones just meant to temporarily fix an accounting issue) come to an end.
Well damn, wait until i get my money before you start giving mfs 48 hrs to respond lmao
No really, Pretty please lolol
Just seen Cuckoobird get most of their money. Im trying to be patient, but my soul is hurt from losing so much money to exit scams. If Bohemia exits im going to literly shoot my computer until it oozes lithium matter.
I don't think they'll exit though. Praying to the Dark Net Gods.
Isn't obvious they don't have enough funds to cover their vendor liabilities and they are doing their best to keep the ponzi going by stringing us all along? It seems plain as day to me. It shouldn't take as long as it has to get the withdrawal/deposit "issue" sorted... combo that with not getting a clear answer as to wtf is actually happening paints a pretty logically obvious conclusion, they dont have enough funds to cover what is owed.
I find it crazy how trusting and how much leeway and goodwill vendors and customers give to popular markets when historically 99.9% of markets ALWAYS fail. Always. We seem to forget that. Let's not do that anymore.
My gut tells me this is less of an exit scam and more gross negligence and mismanagement of market funds that has spun out of control. But this makes for a ripe environment of a market throwing its hands up, ultimately leading to an ungraceful exit with a giant fuck you to everyone by way of you getting poor and them getting rich.
Facts have also kept quiet hoping to receive my missing xmr and btc... They fixed it last time we were missing funds. It took them a month last time to receive our funds but atleast we received them when we thought they were exiting but not we are back in the same position missing withdrawals.
Nice to see finally Dread/Hugbunter stepping in. We psted to everyone this is NOT AN EXIT SCAM but A PONZI SCHEME . Maybe not Bernie Madoff level but please everyone just read what one is... and is will become quite obvious this is what is happening . That fact people are still ordering is just blind ambition plus it helps the admin of Bohemia to play catch up on losing what seems a very large pool of coins. We have stayed in vacation mode and will do such until the end of this madness. Respect to PrettyPacks to speak up.
ive got small change compared to others but my auto finalize orders arent releasing my funds and my withdraws are hitting my my personal wallet at all :( so ive put my account on bohemia on vacation mode hope you can help us get our funds i really appreciate you dude your my fave DN Public figure frfr /u/HugBunter
Its so obvious now, they are not trying to exit, they are trying to save the market by robbing peter to pay paul and slowly payback the missing XMR that was accidentaly given away due to the double payment XMR bug. 1 guy alone got 160k but there are plenty that got 1k, 2k etc.
Problem is the only people buying now are the likes of billy the kid that just pops on once a month to buy a cheeky G for a night out and the only people vending and not in vacation mode are ....... i dont know who.
Deposits not landing, orders not finalizing is just a way to build capital as fast as possible in order to pay the big vendors in the hope that they come out of vacation mode and start selling again and so start bringing in commissions again.
I really dont know how they are gonna survive this if im honest, Im still rooting for them but theres only so much people can / will take before all faith is lost.
Either that or its compounded by the increase in fee charges on the network that has resulted in them leaking funds out at ridiculously slow rates. Either way, the fact that that buyers cant still purchase but vendors can't get their sales finalized and withdrawals out is a bad look.
this has been my fear all along and not much is refuting it at the moment as far as i can tell with the constant dismissal for any kind of timeframe for cannabia coming back, shame.
Yeah they owe an insane amount of money. I don't know what's going on with their system. Are they trying to keep the funds. Do they have intentions of returning all the money. A lot of the withdrawal transactions that are still in the mempool will get rejected and returned. They will not get returned to our wallet though. They will get returned to the market in which case the market will be responsible for reimbursing us.
Do the right thing; leave the stage with some of your reputation intact and just close up shop Bohemia.
You've had a good run and been a great market to use but when your users need to jump through a ridiculous amount of bureaucratic captchas; which consistently spit out false negatives meaning it takes a good 30 mins to even reach the login page (if it hasn't 504'd on the way there) and these issues have been going on for over a month? Whatever you're doing to try and fix this isn't working, if anything it seems to be making it worse. Your vendors are getting pissed off and their customers are going elsewhere, you seem to be swimming against the current at this point.
Pay out whatever is owed to people and take a vacation. It surely cannot be worth the trouble to keep this up right now.
manchimp...They was running access to their marketplace via clear net links.

No one took that marketplace seriously.
