Also in UK. I buy LTC and convert to XMR in Cake wallet. Don't use BTC, it's not anonymous and fees are high, transactions slow.

yes you can get xmr in the UK and its very easy to do so and multiple ways

you can use P2P or websites like openmonero.

you can create a kraken account buy LTC then send it to a open source wallet like Cake Wallet then convert it to XMR
