what OS is best for watching downloaded movies locally? : programming | Torhoo darknet markets

im not sure this is the right place to ask, so if it isnt, just tell me and try to recommend me where i should i ask isntead, thanks
i want to watch my downloaded movies from tpb and download more (or should i js use another os for that?).
im using a pretty old pc with hdd(s) for storing the movies and ssd for the OS itself
i was thinking abt just using ubuntu or some arch derivation, but im not sure
