What's haveno like? : Monero | Torhoo darknet markets

I used to stack monero just as a backup fund for a rainy day. But I need monero for some everyday purchases so I don't wanna spend my cold storage. I used to use local monero when I read a bit on installation it looks a bit complicated. Install and "build". I'll read thru and try it later. But how is this so much better than localmonero? Like what are the benefits that put localmonero outta business? I guess its too bad we can't just have the monero on everyday normal exchanges like coinbase and shit that people could use on their phone. Price of monero will never pump.

I am lucky to have found my trusted LM trader on there, have had absolutely no issues and would really like to thank the developers for providing this platform.

I could, but I wouldn't believe anything anyone tells you on here! They are also on local coinswap if you want to cross reference a username.

The Haveno platform is not inherently secure due to its design, which allows multiple arbitrators under the control of a single administrator. This reliance on a central authority creates a vulnerability, as the administrator serves as a potential single point of failure. Consequently, it remains unclear why some perceive Haveno as a decentralized exchange, despite these concerns. In my opinion, it is not a fully decentralized platform, but it appears to protect the administrator by design, as the Haveno software is described to be censorship-resistant.

In terms of user experience, LocalMonero surpasses Haveno. However, OpenMonero offers significant advantages as an open-source, self-custodial fork of LocalMonero.
