I was in an extra extended vacation and suddenly I see monero did like 100% up??? Is there any new going on? Now it's dropping hard though, whats the reason? Before I left I bought Monero with all my money it was $200ish and then got to $430 and now 300s... Keep hodling?

I didn't even know there were Chinese drug markets. I mean, as a vendor, I choose not to ship drugs to China and Taiwan because I know their drug laws are very strict—one can get life in prison for just a small amount or even the death penalty for large amounts.

I don't know if it was proven but around 330M USD of bitcoin was stolen and exchanged to monero through multiple converters. This massive influx cause the price to jump. Now it is probably staying up because normies saw the price go up and are buying it.

The market cap for xmr isn’t that high so one big bitcoin heist being converted into XMR drives up the price a ton because one person is buying up all the market. Then when they sell the price crashes.
