>From the context i guess it would mean to anomyze it?
Kind of, it prevents possible problems with ring signatures

>How does that work exactly?
Create more wallets and send different amounts to them, at different times. As if they were different people.

It is a bit complex, it has to do with the probability of a signature belonging to you.
I recommend watching "Breaking Monero", it's on youtube

>And i read about clean and dirty wallets, what are these?
Haven't heard of these. You mean tainted coins or something?

breaking monero is okay to watch on Utube. Its was done by members of the Monero community who can be 'trusted' -- it was done by 'Monero Community Workgroup'

Google now knows your into monero meaning the us governed now knows your into dark net markets .... stay away from crypto and dnm related anything on the clear web.. opsec please... use a burner if you have to watch a YouTube video about monero

if you are concerned about that you can try yewtu(dot)be/watch?v= and then the same youtube ID and it routes it using INVIDOUS. (i could be using the wrong termanology here or it may not be perfect so do your own research).

There is also an extension that sam b made but i cannot remember the name. it appartenly automatically changes the youtube site to yewtu(dot)be and x sites to nitter and a bunch of other stuff. but then you are putting your trust in sam b.

just options to do your own research on.

yes that's all I'm advising for.. anybody interested in these research topics please do use the proper opsec. that's what i meant although i was an idiot about how i said it. these topics seem harmless enough but there is no privacy or anonymity anymore so be careful out there. you are exactly right i should have said what you just did and left it at that

anything connected to your real life identity.. email. phone number. etc those are clean and should not mixed with dirty. wallets used to send to markets. vendors etc. keep your clean and dirty laundry separate like mom's always told you

Churning means simply sending the entire balance back to yourself.

in very simple terms- except for some very specific scenarios, all monero is clean, meaning whoever sees the public tx or even receives can't be 100% certain it comes from a "bad" source, ie a market
monero coins cannot be "tainted" like public blockchains such as bitcoin or ethereum

problem is that because of monero's current implementation in some unlucky cases or because of misuse of the tool monero can be probabilistically traced
you have to look into this yourself but misuse includes EAE (ie you send coins back to exchange or from one surveillance exchange to another), EABE (basically same but one more hop in between), various timing attacks, using third party nodes that poison your outputs, etc. there are many pitfalls to be aware of
even if do everything correctly, you could receive all poisoned outputs if you're unlucky (outputs known by your adversary)

churning aims to reduce the risk of these attacks by adding more hops
this needs to be correctly because there is a lot of metadata that could make your transaction graph look improbable and reveal obvious churning in which case your anonymity could be reduced
imagine if you're the only person churning 10 times every time and it's obvious in the transaction flow. it could make your currently unlinked transactions easier to link and trace

just understand that while monero is very secure there are many nuances that actors with advanced threat models should take into account
if you consider yourself a small fish you would do good to send monero to yourself once or twice with some delay before spending it. that's churning

about churning: Can you send from one Feather wallet to another Feather Wallet?
How about split amount x to amount y and amount z , send both amounts to another wallet, then the sum (which is amount x again) minus a small amount to the destination?

I worked in political fundraising for a little over a year in 2020; you'd be surprised at how cheap it is to buy politicians.

I was mistakenly sent the sanctions list for people we are unable to accept donations from.

Each sanctioned individual had bank accounts, as well as BTC and ETH addresses. Chainalysis and other tracking platforms are very easily able to track movements of crypto even when the wallets use CoinJoin or any well known mixer. It just simply is not as good as privacy by default.

Chainalysis can track every privacy coin including Zcash and DASH. The only coin they cannot track is Monero.
