the team behind whonix has decided in version 17+ has completely removed monero gui and cli, i really think this was a crazy move in the wrong direction considering he monero gui application doesn't take up much space unless you sync the wallet locally. you can install manually now, they've updated some guides, but why remove it in the first place?

Maybe Feather is coming? I personally don't mind as each of my wallets is in a different qube (goodluck hacking those) but its defnitely a controversial move!

Not surprising. Tails is not even considering to add GUI or CLI to their OS.
Whonix team never been the smartest.

We can suggest you to look into Prestium: I2P first, Monero only, Live system and very awesome compared to other crap like Tails (bloated) and Whonix (usually outdated).
You can create a persistent storage using Ventoy or an other encrypted USB, to save your data.

They wanted to require stream isolation between monero's gui and monerod for increased security so Whonix 17 requires manual installation. It's for advanced users only, not users with floaties on like you. And I don't know what countless cases of "whonix users being infiltrated" you're talking about... I found your one example and who's to say he didn't have a fucking sticky note with the password on it on his desk? Or they are just lying? You have no idea what you're talking about.

Bottom line is Tor itself is a honeypot, they just go after large targets. If they shutdown Tor another one will pop up and they will have to spend more money to try and infiltrate what comes after Tor. They'd rather us "believe" that it's safe and watch everything we do. OK once again you need this thing called evidence to backup your claims... Why are any marketplaces up if they have cracked tor? Marketplaces get shutdown because they get HACKED. Because they want us to continue using Tor knowing that if the word gets out it's cracked then the jig is up. Just like when Alan turing and the british let the germans sink allied naval targets. If they had acted too much then their enemies would know they had cracked their encryption. Just for my entertainment, IBM has said they are 100% confident they will be able to get 100,000 qubits in their quantum computer with in the next 3 years. Do you honestly believe they have the best technology in the world? That the NSA isn't on the cutting edge and probably had a 100,000 qubit computer 10 years ago?

The bases for quantum computers, quantum theory, was discovered by Max Planck in 1918, the basis of what makes quantum computers possible. That was over 100 years ago lmfao.
