Why is ASAP using the old deposit funds onto an account balance system? : ASAP | Torhoo darknet markets

Hi,

I can't figure out why ASAP is using the old school system of depositing funds onto account rather than paying the exact amount directly to a wallet address?

Most newer DMs have moved away from this tired old system as we are all risk losing our funds on our balance if the market exit scams. I recently lost (a small amount luckily) funds on WorldMarket due to exactly this reason. Also, it was always a ball ache to deposit the correct amount for orders without the rate being slightly less than you calculated meaning you always have to throw more coin onto your account just to compensate for these influx of rates. I don't miss that and like to send the correct amount without all that BS.

My last order on ASAP I made with zero balance purposely so that it would tell me the exact amount of btc I needed, but by the time my coin landed it was slightly under the required amount so I had to keep refreshing until the the btc rate went my way. I then had to quickly buy in case it changed again. These days should be behind us!

Today, when deciding on if I should order on ASAP or Vice City for the same vendor and product, Vice City won my custom due to me being able to simply send the correct amount to the btc address rather than the hassle of the above.

Cheers

I would add that if you are going to have an on site wallet, users should be able to deposit to that wallet and have it show up in, oh, say, less than 19 hours? If I want to make a purchase on ASAP these days, I have to deposit an approximate amount the day before. For the stuff I buy, that often means it's gone by then. Drives me nuts! I pay extra to have the deposit go out of my wallet fast, so it's usually less than 30 minutes, but I still must wait until the next day (sometimes even later) to see it in my wallet. I do not get it. It's like a human being has to push a series of 98 buttons for each deposit to go through. I do not believe that this is related to any planned bad action, but it does make them look bad if you think about it for too long. (I say that with ASAP being my only market now that Versus is down.) I like ASAP! I just wish deposits would go through the way they did a month ago: as soon as they fully leave my wallet with all the confirmations. I will say that so far they have all shown up, so I am at least happy about that. The first time I thought I got phished! ALSO: I definitely spend less $ because of this wait time. I often have to hold back a LOT because I didn't put enough in my wallet. So ASAP is losing money on a grand scale by not fixing this. I wish so much that they would go to direct pay! I'd pay more in fees for sure to have that feature.

This also goes the other way aswell because versus had the same system as vice and pretty much every time you sent the deposit for the order you always had to send extra coin I experienced th8s over and over

Versus didn't have onsite wallets, versus utilized multi-sig transactions that required buyers to send the exact amount to confirm the invoice of an order... if you sent more/less coins than stipulated in the invoice the order becomes invalid and is refunded to your wallet

Versus also had fast pay and nearly every order sending the exact ammount was not enough.... There is 100s of posts on dread saying exactly the same... I used versus from day 1 I no how it worked
