Now that the POW/DDOS fix been released why is the tor link to daunt still offline.
i think people would rather use the tor link instead of the clearnet link

is there a good reason that it's offline

Why? Because POW isn't stable branched on the Tor browser. So pushing descriptors with POW will end with people not being able to reach the site at all unless they use the alpha branch.

Just because a thing is released doesn't mean it's available to be used. OP ask why is proof of work (POW) protection not being used to bring back up the daunt onion, it's because it's not wildly available yet. When it is a lot of Dread's services will come up in a matter of days.

finally I discovered why, in fact I was using a phishing Dread that changes links.
the clearnet Daunt is ending with .link on the dread phishing site both link are ending with .union

the phishing dread site is changing the whole link with an other .union fake site, even in private messages, what make me doubting is because when mods are taking about clearnet and am continue receiveing .union links

and clear net is https daunt dot link
I changed them a bit because the fake site is detecting the links and changes them
