Why should there not be a WW3?

WW1 - Ttrenches, mustard gas, early machine guns, etc.

WW2 - Far more mechanized and mobile war, widespread use of tanks and other advanced vehicles, more bombing and aircraft involvement, far more advanced weaponry, too much to list.

You see how different these two wars were despite happening only about 20 years apart?

This year, it has been 80 years since WW2 ended in 1945. The landscape of war and fighting has changed so much that the likelyhood of a world war on the scale seen in the past is highly unlikely.

WW3 is ongoing, largely information-based and most of the weapons being used are biological in nature and come with suitcases, in syringes, or are stocked on the shelf at your local grocery store and pharmacy.

You won't be drafted, but you will have to fight.

You can make the case it's already started and we will look back and argue exact dates later. I didn't expect a hot war myself but economical warfare. I expected China to just dominate the US economically and it would be too late. The world would side with china because they supply the worlds goods.
