Xchange.me is a rip off : Monero | Torhoo darknet markets

I just recently converted a large amount of Monero to BTC and was ripped off like $80. It gave me .0006 BTC less than it estimated and the amount in BTC I got is $80 less than I had in Monero. Holy shit what a rip off. Why cant cannahome add monero? Jesus Christ. Now I'm $40 short of what I needed for my order and have to go change my order or pray theres a jump in BTC value and redo the order. Is there anything like xmr.to anymore than actually lets you specify the exact amount in BTC you want to receive then it locks the exchange rate so you know exactly how much monero you send for an exact amount of BTC received? This shits ridiculous.

Flyp.me has higher rates closer to 4-5% than the 1-2% of xchange.me last time I checked.

How much were you changing? Their rates have been between 1 and 2%, so if you were trying to change any less than 4k then I agree you definitely got ripped off at an $80 fee. Otherwise it's possible you caught a bad break just after a volatile swing in relative price of BTC to XMR that has happened more than few times the last couple days.

changenow.io has consistently lower rates than xchange.me based on some recent comparisons from when I've checked.

Not even 1.5k... Im sure the insane bitcoin tx fee played a factor but that should only be like $20... Shouldnt even be half what I lost in that exchange... Then I spent $30 in BTC tx fees to send it to market. So $110 to send not even 1.5k

I emptied my BTC wallet on this. Literally took every single satoshi to get my order in. I don't plan on doing anything in BTC aft3er this until they get their tx fees figured out. 200 sat/b is crazy. I remember paying like 15 sat/b last year.

Fucking totally man. BTC is practically unusable for that very reason. If I have to use BTC I'll try and save it for Sunday, when traffic is significantly lower. You can still get 15 sat/b on Sundays.

Holy shit really? Like yesterday? That's a new development then since previous Sundays have been very low fees. Maybe that's why when I checked the mempool queue yesterday it wasn't returning any data. I guess that's a bad sign.

Fees for BTC are insane on all exchanges. It is time to hodl BTC until the blockchain gods can figure it all out as they have before in the past. XMR time to shine, and it is showing as it has gained traction in prices also.
Time to hodl or trade wisely with XMR.

I emptid my wallet in my last TX and had to use a TX accelerator even with a $24 fee that emptied my wallet. Now I think good riddance. Fuck BTC until they fix this crap I'm using monero and LTC.

I have the same problem with xchange.me. They are complete shit. I was transferring $1500 and they took wayyy more than 1-2%. I ended up getting back like 1350 which is BS.

Then another time I lost big because the funds wouldnt transfer and I had to email them. It took almost a week but bitcoin price dropped a lot and I lost out because they took so long to refund me, and the refund amount wasn't what it should have been.

We need a more honest bitcoin to monero exchange, getting tired of losing $$$ to shady greedy fucks.
