Haha, honestly man, and I think we both know this, but it's really a judges discretion what qualified immunity is and isn't... But arguably it's anything the officer would argue is done "in his job duties in the pursuit of justice, pursuant to public safety interests"

There's a lot of ways piggies like to bend that... But damn near anything, even vending drugs directly to people, has even been held up under QI.

The local bacon company in my town actually had an episode of cops where they sold weed and crack on a corner, let the person drive off before swarming them.
